    Would I be able to just take the lines off the old trans cooler and do the adapter hoses and hook them up to the 6.0 cooler that way to make it simpler or do I have to reroute all that stuff?

    I would argue that having it plumed through the radiator would help to heat things up on a cold day. Otherwise, you’re relying on just the transmission to get things moving and warmed up. Down south, fine enough, but having it brought up to engine temp and kept cool with the cooler would be the way I’d probably do it

    If your plan is to remove the midship tank. Look into titan tanks they make a tank that replaces the spare tire for extra capacity, which may be a good choice for your project. Awesome project, by the way. It's going to be a sweet ride when you're done, and it's not a Cummins swap.

    3:31 what’s up man I know a little late but having trouble with my 97 7.3ps with marrying the transmission to the engine. But I wanna know did the motor come with a little spacer on the flex plate with the same bolt pattern? I wanna know if I need to use or not, when transmission is seated the motor won’t spin

    • @CleffersGarage
      @CleffersGarage 2 месяца назад

      In my experience all the OBS trucks have the aluminum spacer between the engine and transmission. The 99-03 only the autos had it I think they are the same and then the zf6 has a thin maybe a 1/8 spacer between them. If you are talking about the spacer from crank to flywheel I know all the autos have one. And the zf6 does not but I’m not sure with the zf5.
