Lmao truth there with the intake portion of the truck. If you can tackle intake work on the 6.7 your basically a master mechanic.

Crazy cool video, can't wait to see some more footage on the 6.7! How'd you learn how to do all that! I have a 6.7 and work on it for simple stuff. You made it look easy, I wish I had the knowledge and confidence to tear something apart like you did. RESPECT!!

You should look into a scanner, You could probably find a used one that has the years you work on in them! Love the 6.7!

My 11 with tuning never goes more than 21-22lbs of boost. The small turbo is notorious for over speeding and grenading from high boost as well as deceleration when in tow mode. If it was me I’d look into a 15-19 style turbo way more reliable. Great content!

I think I’m the future when I swap it into the bronco I’ll look into turbo upgrades and deletes and tuning.

Bro I’ve never gotten the 6 pack form work to go over half way smashing it all the way to the floor.

How many engine hours? Was wondering if this vehicle was idled a lot. Saw a video that ford says every engine hour should be multiplied times 30 and that gives you a better understanding of total mileage. Just bought a 2011 built 12/2010 and have been a bit scared because apparently the ones built before 4/2011 have valve issues that cause piston damage. Will have to wait and see what happens to mine 😅

I do not remember the hours on it. I have it all ripped apart so I can’t see them right now. My buddies truck did drop a valve he ended up getting the block bored I think 20 over and new pistons and he replaced both heads. I think his had 280k on the clock.

@@CleffersGarage Thanks for the info. I’m currently at 150k miles but I think I should consider rebuilding engine around 250k or prepare to buy a replacement. Drive about 20k miles a year so that should hopefully last me 4 years 😅.
