There's a difference between hardship that you consciously face with bravery, and then there's trauma that a young child cannot actually process leading to coping. Not the same thing.

Simply as a test, I got a new girl hooked and slowly did all the things that Casey said I shouldn't do. Lo and behold, hypergamy became less and less satisfied. Spot on, guvnor. The point about music is one I have never seen before on RUclips, but it is SO true. In fact, you can learn a lot about women by evaluating what music they like. If they constantly listen to music that glorifies cheating or materialism, for example, that is a very red flag.

You want to move forward in life? Kick that damn mind fucking TV and consoles out of the house. On my PCs I even remove Solitaire. I listen to music though. But only without text, lyrics or words. Background music, elevator music even but never ever with any kind of message that could disctract me.

It's not music itself, it's the garbage most people listen to. Music is like your food, it can nourish and empower you, or rot you from the inside out.
There's nothing wrong with some mindless leisure time, whether it be video games, reading, youtube, whatever. Key word being moderation. I game maybe 3-5 hours per week. The rest of the time I'm crushing shit like a boss. I think I'm actually MORE productive because I take a little time to just do something enjoyable.

Damn Casey, that's what my house was like growing up too. Except my Dad was a complete beta and didn't work and spent my mom's money.
I want to disagree but I can't and i won't lie to myself. I am guilty of a lot of this and have been working on fixing it for about a year now but i still have a long way to go. I need to get in shape stop smoking eat better and stop watching movies and playing games. I gave up frequent use of mainstream media and news a long time ago i don't use social media and ive stopped listening to music. Since cutting out those my life is infinitely better and I'm starting to work on my other goals. You get overloaded and iver stimulated and it wrecks your brain. A big reason I'm starting to reduce my media consumption. Thanks Casey, the only thing holding me back is me and my excuses.
You know I was thinking of the story where Casey brought a girl to a resort and the relationship gradually got worse over a couple of years. He thought this was due to her interpreting the nice vacation as him showing too much interest. HOWEVER, what is missing from the equation is this: Women see dating and boyfriends simply as a means to an end, and that biological end is getting married and having kids with the dude. The longer she stays in the relationship without this happening, the more she will subconsciously crave another guy and lose interest in the first guy. This is pure biology. In nature, if a woman has lots of sex with a guy, she will almost surely get pregnant - unless there is something wrong with the guy. So biologically, the lack of getting pregnant signals that the guy is not right for her, that he is not what she needs in order to procreate.

I had a roommate who was born and raised rich until his parents died in a car accident.
