    Thanks for this video, Doctor. I read somewhere that a person should not take a shower and hit the bed immediately as it accumulates water in the lungs, and the repercussions are serious. The doctor in the article suggested having a shower 2 to 3 hrs before bedtime. I would be interested to know your thoughts on this, Doctor.

      Hi, taking a warm bath 1 to 2 hours before going to bed is the best for a good night's sleep. This is according to a meta-analysis of 5,322 research studies.

    Thanks for the information. How to combat if sleep is disturbed by night time urination. Even though with 12 hours dry fasting, I have to get up minimum two times to urinate.

      Sir, try these tips.
      1. Empty the bladder before going to bed.
      2. Avoid caffeinated drinks before bed.
      3. Try pelvic floor exercises to strengthen the bladder muscles.
      4. According to the sleep foundation, having a warm red light on during the night helps (as they stimulate melatonin production) people who have nocturia.

    I have a cold bath at night before I sleep. Some nights when it is warm I take a second cold bath or even another to fall asleep. Warm baths would definitely not make me sleep. I go to bed between a little before 11.00 p.m and I get up at 6.30 a.m. My dinner is about 5.30 p.m. Yet some nights I struggle to sleep. I am 67 years old and retired. I do strenuous exercises to control my blood sugar level. I am a type 2 diabetic for about 30 years with A1C of 7.5. Any advise for me Doctor.

      Yes ma'am, cooking amla reduces the vitamin c content. While we boil amla it loses most of the vitamin content. Microwave cooking is the best method to retain the maximum amount of vitamin c.
