      I'm using this gear right now, which provides me 23 visibility, 27 conspicuousness and 0 noise. Looks nice, is extremely functional (almost invisible, even in bright sunlight) and its protection is high enough to fight and defeat two heavily armored enemies in Hardcore Mode without having much trouble. The perks you mentioned included (of course^^).
      Aachen dark brigadine (38 vis./45 conspic.)
      Bell-shaped kettle hat
      Black brigandine pauldrons
      Black hood (6/12)
      Dark padded coif
      Dark Saxon gambeson
      Gold chain
      Golden spurs (optional, sadly raises visibility and conspicuousness by 2)
      Green nobleman's hose
      Leather gloves
      Noble's mail coif
      Padded chausses (34/29)
      Quiet dark shoes
      Short brigandine chausses (61/68)
      Signet ring
      Stats:
      Head armour 31/37/26
      Body armour 24/27/20
      Arm armour 16/16/6
      Leg plate 15/16/15
      Charisma should be at 13.
      Thanks for the vid and greetings ;-)

      @@williamvonbaskerville8275 You don't need sterotype medieval plate armor if your good at the combat system. The a.i. can easily be tricked by rapidly rotating your sword all over the place. Say you start a feint at the bottem left point, rotate 3 times, then stab their damn face. Repeat until dead.

      I didn't play it for some time now and returned to the game yesterday (the new DLC), just to get beaten up real bad in multiple fights. Deadly bad... My accuracy with the bow got pretty poor as well. Just have the savegames of my 2 Hardcore Mode playthroughs. So, a bit training is necessary to get back to old form.

      Arm Armour 16 16 6
      Leg Plate 10 11 11

    I accidentally rode straight into a Cuman bandit camp, and one of them said, "This is no place for a monk! Shouldn't you be at the monastery?" I thought it was a mistake, until he started attacking me, and I fell off of my horse. I appreciated the honesty in that bandit: for doing what every NPC had been already fantasizing about, from the time I put that monk's habit on.

    I fell in love with the stealth when I got a chance in that way and killed all of the bandits and Cumans that where in Pribyslavitz before you go and attack it with the Lords Hanush, Divish and Radzig. Absolutely loved it... And yes it made me a very sadistic sneak in the bush bush. Just wait, and they will sleep... forever. Now I am in hardcore mode... and oddly enough it nearly seems way easier!

      HAHA I think I just need to start doing a lot more thieving and murdering to catch up Cyber! Very pleased you found the guide useful. It was very much the product of discussions with Vlammenzee and watching a lot of existing guides out there.
      Btw I realised two things recently which is that just after dusk and just before dawn, its actually light enough to see, but people still head for bed. And secondly, nighthawk potion is excellent in certain circumstances. It certainly turns the tables on those night time bandit attacks when travelling at night.
      Any road, appreciate you watching cyber.

  • @andreashun
    @andreashun 5 лет назад +4

    Really good video! And pretty much the build i used in my first run, except for the monks habit maybe ;)
    It's just much more useful if you can just sneak into a camp in your gear without having to switch around amour, but at the same time being well protected in combat.
    In my current run i'm a noisy tincan who strips in peoples homes when it's getting dark, but i think i might change that around again, it's really annoying.
    Really amazing though that there are so many different armour pieces in the game, and that you can find really cool stuff in chests or on corpses, that you can't get anywhere else (at least not in the shops). Makes exploring and looting so much more rewarding. I wish the weapon variety was a bit bigger but overall really nice how many different items there are in the game.

    These are all great hints and tricks. I know some people that try to play this game stealthily like a ninja, in full plate armor with few or none of these perks at all. It's sad and hilarious when they get caught everytime. They'd have more luck jumping off the top of a castle wall in full plate armor, on a freaking horse!! Thanks for the tips.

    I had a similar build before my drive failed, haven't had the heart to re-install yet.
    IIRC my stealth stats were in the teens and single-digits, but my armour rating was in the 80/90's. I preferred to play that way, banking more heavily on staying hidden. But like your build tying my armour together was the dark Mil Brigandine, since body shots are the most likely damage to receive.

    So quick question, how does stuffing work? is it permanent or does it go away after a blacksmith repairs my stuff? I just hope it doesn't really take away the sound (gameplay-wise ) if it is indeed permanent cause I like the clanking/rattling noise. So I hope i don't stop hearing it if I buff my armor with the perk.

    • @21Kiloton
      @21Kiloton  4 года назад +2

      Been a while since I played but if I recall, when you repair you OWN gear, you reduce that items noise value. TBH Ive never paid attention to whether this affects ingame sound effects. I think its a perk you use through necessity rather than preference. I think you will always get some clanking noise though.

    any idea why im still so loud?
    also there seem to be different versions of each item with different noise stats. maybe thats the issue? im wearing only the "best" items stealth wise that i come across, but i have no idea if they are the best items with that particulary name.

    one thing id like to add is adding poison to your arrows can make a huge difference... u can kill 10 bandits at once even in close combat with your bow when spotted... just shoot before they hit and position yourself well... the more u spike them with arrows the faster they die even if you dont have the time to draw the bow to the max... oneshot less armored guys early on if you shoot them straight into the face... op as fuck when in forests combined with all the mentioned perks above... eliminate multiple enemies before they even reach you...

      @21Kiloton  6 лет назад +4

      Very glad you enjoyed it.
      Im currently not using any mods on either my Kingdom Come Deliverance or Fallout 4 streams.
      The reasons the graphics might look odd is because I took a Nighthawk Potion at the start, then at some point it wore off, then it started to rain, then I chugged another Nighthawk Potion. Under normal circumstances I find the woods to be pitch black at night.
      In fact I would go as far as to say that at night, without Nighthawk Potion, I usually shit myself in the dark if I get attacked by bandits because I cant see a damn thing.
      Definitely worth checking out for night raids kingdom-come-deliverance.wikia.com/wiki/Nighthawk_potion
      If you just remember to buy the ingredients when you visit traders and alchemists, they are fairly easy to make even early game.

    Can't get my hood to stay up, how is yours without mods?

    • @21Kiloton
      @21Kiloton  6 лет назад +4

      Fine, as long as I dont wear specific items. II always put on the monks outfit first...then add other items, one by one, so I can see which clothing item disables the hood. Some fairly odd things switch the hood off. Certain arm armor turns it off... I think Nuremburg... and most metal chest plates do. The Brigandines are usually fine. Also some coifs clip through it and some are fine.
      Its really a process of trial and error mate. Just put the monks robes on first and build up from there. It is rather fickle though.
      Thank you for watching.

    • @21Kiloton
      @21Kiloton  5 лет назад +24

      I find using the top knuckle as a reference point really helps. With certain gloves on horseback, its practically dead on horizontally. That way you only have to worry about how high you are aiming. I find hunting for rabbits with a stack of cheap arrows, or just running lots of archery competitions on the lowest bet, are great ways to learn.
      This said, all the shots in that video came off really well ... normally I miss a lot more than that. Thanks for watching Valorian.

    • @fancypants9558
      @fancypants9558 3 года назад +4

      I know this is one year old but if you get to level 5 with bow, it becomes significantly easier. You don’t flay your arm anymore, and you hold the bow properly meaning it is a lot more accurate (use just above the top knuckle to aim). Here’s what I do every game. As soon as I can train with Bernard, I train with him until I get 5 strength and 5 agility (enough to use Capons hunting bow) then go behind the arena to where the sheep are. Stay relatively close to them (but not too close for them to run away, then shoot the sheep. Nobody will be able to see you and you will get a few levels doing this. Come back up every so often and the sheep respawn (I do it whenever I go to Bernard’s) until you get to level 5.
      I hope this helps!

    So glad I found this, played about 40 hours of the game after it launched but decided to stop and let them fix some serious bugs that were screwing with later missions, now that band of bastards is coming out next month I'm going to jump back in. I remember carrying around 3 different outfits, one for stealth, one for max charisma and a full set of armor, much rather stick with one set that is multi functional.

    How do you get the hood to stay up, I have tried every mod.

    • @21Kiloton
      @21Kiloton  5 лет назад

      Trial and error. Certain items cause the hood to deanimate. Obviously helmets do but also things you wouldnt think of .... like certain SPECIFIC shoulder plates and Chest armor. (eg some shoulders are fine, some note etc.)
      The easiest way to do it is, strip naked, put on the monks robes, then add other clothing items one at a time.
      When putting on a certain item causes the hood to de-animate, then you know it has an incompatible clipping model.
      Repeat this process until you have worked out which items work with the hood.
      FYI in total I think there are 5-6 different Monks Habits. 3 hooded.
      Helmets always cause the hood to vanish (but head mail and coif are fine apart from some look better than others)
      One of the best chest piece in the game, Milanese Brigandine, is totally fine.. and comes in black as a drop.
      I do this without any mods installed.
      Good luck mate.

    Me personally, I never find a use for potions like I have them on me, but I tend just to forget they exist, sort of like chems from fallout, I just sell them because I never use them. My greatest heist in this game was the Sasau Monastery before the quest, I got so many crosses and weapons from that place. Now I normally bust into the vaults of the armor/weapon stores because of the op stuff you get from the place, netting me about 30k groschen every store I pull. The only downside to monk robes is the npcs that see you, I remember one saying "aren't you meant to be in the monastery lad?" in his sleep...it's creepy as fuck lmao. This video is what got me into the whole stealth mechanics of this game which I do enjoy now, was a goody two-shoes before that.

    This game keeps on surprising me, because its not a big name developer I keep my expectations low and keep being blown away at the level of care from the developers. The AI is advanced but when AI is so in depth you can expect bugginess but its really low and forgivable weighed with how well it works. I keep wondering if this was in the hands of a AAA dev team would it be as good? they would prob trade polish for lower risk in AI and it wouldnt suck you in as much. They have revived singleplayer games in my mind. This is why SP games are great, I nearly forgot it could be done. I thought this art form of game development was dead. They DID take a risk and could have easily played it safe and put more attention into smoothness and polish but it would not nearly be as in depth and enveloping
