The Last Kingdom is one of the BEST shows I've ever seen. Season 4 just finished filming and should launch sometime next year

while playing as Theresa, guards will just kill you if they catch you for murder. I used to think that not getting hanged for murder as Henry always confused me, but now I get it - it's because he's under sir Ratshit's protection and Hans Tampon's buddy, so it makes sense some.

@@21Kiloton I played about two hours of it, but I had just come out of a fresh start out of the opening and just couldn't stand another minute of Skalitz. I'll finish up soon though.
wow can't wait to start this game. you make hardcore look like it's easy or something.... Jeez. I mean I know it comes from hours of gameplay but still. Lol. U play well on camera.
Very kind of you to say mate. I probably look better than I really am because I learned the systems in the game. For the record I have virtually never pulled off a combo and cant get the hang of them. However repostes and bows are win!

so I'm guessing with the new patches you can't ride over-encumbered that's why I can't now
What do you think about zweihanders?
I can only answer based on my experience and (low) skill level, but I reckon they are incredibly powerful, but require skill to use, and provide less protection from archers and mistakes in combat.
I have a pretty good understanding of combat but Im terrible at combination moves. So I prefer to go for a shield and one hand. This way I get better defence, coverage, and still do reasonable damage.
I think overall 2handers, wielded by a good player will do fantastic damage, but you need to have some skill to maximise it.
Just as importantly, this game lets you play any way and style you like.... so I also think its important to pick weapons that you really enjoy using. I really mean that. If you love zweihanders I reckon fuck the stats.... just use one and have fun. Im sure any weapon can be made to work well in the hands of an enthusiastic player. I hope this helps
21Kiloton I will agree they're more difficult to use in a one-handed weapon but they do offer a large amount of coverage allow you to hit enemies from further away so they never have a chance to get close enough to actually hit you though you do suffer from archers as you can effectively block an arrow with a 6-foot piece of Steel.
Thats sounds interesting. I never really thought about the range advantage. I think Ill give a longsword a try this week and see how I do with it. Thx for the feedback mate.
21Kiloton I wonder if you could use a longsword from horseback? Like a polearm or a two handed mace, wonder if that would just be to much to micro manage at once, what you think?
Im certainly going to try it lol. The stab damage is so high on some longswords I considered trying out longsword and shield anyways. I know this means you cant use combination moves but Im useless at those anyways. Ill try it out for sure.
