no music please, it ruins a great video, the sound of the wind and the motor is all that is needed, it's a great machine, id like one of them for sure, if I had one I would build a plastic cage on top of it and put my hamster in it, I'm sure he would love it, he is very adventurous and brave. . . for a hamster. .

Love those whistling low passes - I'd be addicted to them, but I just know trying that with my Flyfly Nimbus would remove the wings, no matter how much epoxy I pour into them.. great video!

We want to see thermal action! 😛 Btw. I´m in the need of some new servos. My vintage first-hand f3b glider from mid 90s has still the first analog servos in it "Volz micro-maxx".
Cool toy plane! Where was the "redefines flying" part? It was in the air under aerodynamic forces, right? That's what flying has always been. Tech has given us better motors and batteries. You got some of those. Wow.
I have 2 Omegas, 1 Alex XXL, had an Explorer, all of them excellent planes. Love the idea to go for bigger planes. Anyway , I miss a successor of the Omega. 👍

Geiler Flieger 👌 ist der für eine Wettbewerbsklasse gedacht, zB GPS? Und das Antriebssetup würde mich auch interessieren 🔥

So bad ass ... Your flying skills and video production are really really great!!!! I only in the last year found your channel and I must say that when you do glider reviews its absolutely epic!!!! Seriously your channel deserves so many more views because its over the top amazing.... Maybe put a attractive gal in a bikini doin the hand launch and use that as your thumbnail.... Not kidding either.... seriously do it and see how many more views you get.... And from that more subscribers and people getting into the hobby to sustain it.....

OK that is very cool. I like the idea but at the same time that’s not necessarily a glider that is an airplane. That kind of defeats, the whole purpose of having thermals and doing the whole glider experience. But that is a really cool airplane.
It’s a nice plane, but Nan models never answer a single question when u ask them!!! At least they can place the multiplex plugs in the fuselage for the tail servos!!!Where is the CG for this model ? It would be cool to know from the builder and not ask all over the web to get an answer !!!Which motor,Esc, battery and prop did u use ?
Where did u place the x10 mini for the rudder and the other servo for the elevator ???? It would be cool to see some pics of these servos…

*Input, 3000 watts of power input. This is not a wind turbine. The system might consume 3000 watts of power but the actual watts used to move air is much less due to loses.
If you used your method to rate power, an internal combustion engine that makes 30 horsepower at the crank would actually consume 100 hp of power. Now imagine buying an engine rated for 100 hp (your method) but it only produces 30 hp of usable power....you would NOT be happy!!

In my opinion, for what that is worth, all I see is a long winged fighter aircraft. A glider is all about its gliding performance and the motor is only about getting it launched.
