Your favourite PULSE 2200 is back in the V2 version - agile and manoeuvrable, featuring new high-torque/high-speed servos and a bunch of other improvements like control linkage with precise ball links. Get ready for a good deal of fun and stunts. Pulse 2200 V2 features a “full house” wing with ailerons and flaps control, a carbon-reinforced virtually unbreakable EPO airframe and a powerful brushless motor ensuring great aerobatic and slope sailing performance. In brief, our Pulse 2200 V2 is a perfect all-around fun model every moderately advanced pilot will enjoy. Get your Pulse racing.
The thoroughly carbon-reinforced EPO foam fuselage comes with the KAVAN C3548-750 brushless motor, 11×8” folding propeller and KAVAN R-50SB Plus ESC featuring a powerful switching SBEC stabilizer necessary to feed all 6 servos aboard. The detachable canopy is secured with a magnetic lock. The cockpit compartment offers a lot of room for your receiver and flight pack. The elevator and rudder servos are installed in the fin.
The two-piece EPO wing is reinforced by two carbon spars; the root ends of the spars are inserted into an aluminium joiner in the fuselage. The wing halves are secured by a nylon bolt. The ailerons and flaps (both reinforced by carbon spars) are controlled by two pairs of servos installed in the wing driven with short wire push rods.
The EPO horizontal tailplane (both stabilizer and elevator reinforced by carbon spars) is detachable and secured with two bolts to the fin for easy transport/storage.
Pulse 2200 V2 is powered by the KAVAN C3548-750 brushless motor with the KAVAN R-50SB Plus 50A ESC with enhanced programming capabilities.
You will need a 14.8 V 2600-4000 mAh flight pack (at least 30C, 40C preferred) to fly your Pulse 2200 V2.
You will need at least a 6-channel RC set to control your Pulse 2200 V2. Even a non-computer radio would work as the aileron and flap servo are controlled by a single channel each (linked via multi-connector cables). At least a 7-channel computer radio will work best; independent aileron and flap servo control and mixing (especially the butterfly mix creating extremely effective airbrake by extending ailerons up and flaps down) will help you to enjoy your Pulse 2200 V2 to the fullest. In this case, you will have to connect the aileron and flap servos directly. The instruction manual contains a thoroughly tested set-up table to help you set up the Pulse 2200 V2 easily even if it is your first “full house” control glider.
ARTF set contents: EPO fuselage with the brushless motor, 50A ESC, 11x8" folding propeller and 2 servos installed, EPO wing with 4 servos installed, EPO horizontal tailplane, and instruction manual.

Similar to the Multiplex Lear Jet EDF, Kavan are difficult to find in the US. Only one Kavan dealer is listed in New York and very limited planes available. They both look great. Fun to watch you guys. Cheers

We had a major thunderstorm here, in central Florida, too. Rain came down in buckets! Pool overflowed and and it flooded our patio. Our flying field probably looks like a swamp.
I love heavy rains but this was a little scary.

I just maidened mine this weekend with 4s 5000 and the cg was perfect and it still flew beautifully and floaty. It’s available in North America as the Typhoon 2.2M from Great Hobbies, minus the cool paint job but all electronics the same. The hardest thing about flying this thing is getting it to land!

Fantastic flying, Great video filming from you brothers. The plane flys great with 69% still left in the lipo too, I think i need one but website says not available in the UK.
When you get towards the aft end of the stable CG range, elevator sensitivity will go up. Try on low rates, it may be your new high rate.
Don't forget to try the 45 degree dive test when setting up CG on a glider. Trim to fly straight and level at its happy glide speed. Then get some altitude, chop the throttle, and push the nose down to a 45 degree angle dive to accelerate quickly. Center the elevator.
-The glider pulls up out of the dive gently - it's on the forward margin of neutral.
-It pulls out of the dive quickly as if with up elevator input - it's nose heavy and will be a more enjoyable flyer with the cg pushed a little bit more rearward.
-Glider continues down at a 45 degree angle - it's neutral, and will go exactly where you point it.
-It tucks into the dive, steepening the angle - it is on the tail heavy side of neutral. Most folks like to play a little forward of neutral.
Now once you get it just forward of neutral, check for inverted flight performance. It should need only slight forward pressure to maintain level. If you have to push forward a lot, you may be nose heavy still, or potentially the tail incidence needs adjustment
Gliders are a little different beast but it looks like you're getting the hang of it!

Zee moles will need some floatation devices next rain. Kavan makes some nice stuff it seems. Hopefully they'll continue adding to their collection and maybe someday make it to the US. We could use a good RC plane Company with both Quality and Customer Service. Competition always forces others to improve or get out. Lately some have been neglect on all counts. Great plane, great flight, and best fly catcher on line. Best to all

I'm really liking this plane, it could be a great thermal glider, sadly not available in the states and if it was, the shipping charges would be a 1/4 of what the plane cost. I purchased the FMS- ASW17/ 2500 mm wingspan powered glider, pretty comparable to the Pulse 2200...
FMS gliders are also awesome.

Ive been watching more and more powered gliders of late, Who needs a jet ? these things cover a lot of sky. Bro had trouble keeping up . Its was just missing some music ( Albertros ) by Fleetwood mac , that way i could be 50 years younger , and be watching the model channel again . LOL

Hey my friends ❤ that’s strange because mine is set a CG 85mm (rearest recommendation book) with a 4S 2200 of 274gr…and during my CG dive tests it’s still nose heavy…🤔🤔🤔
Its really interesting Arthur. When I check it its nose heavy but when I was flying it wanted to climb all the time. I wqill put trimmers back and try with 2200mAh baterrie. I have a little biggers once from Zippy.

Glede na to da imaš tudi s 4000 mAh premalo obtežitve spredaj, bi bilo smiselno prilepit tisto zaščitno plastiko (samo) spredaj ? Glede da se začne plastika čisto pri motorju, bi moralo kar dobro nagniti model naprej. Baterija pa bi bila lahko tako kot na začetku in ne bi ovirala hlajenje motorja.
Sem gledal druge video in ta model zelo lepo leti tudi s 2700 mAh baterijo.
