FYI - The top menu bar is floating. If you press and hold it, you can move it wherever you want to. I also left handed and keep the menu on the right side of the screen!
Im looking to get the A6X and stumbled upon this video of yours. At 9:36 You mention Google Drive is on Supernote's road map... does that feature work yet? I notice you uploaded this video just over a year ago, so I just wanted to ask. Thanks
You can now move that menu bar to the top, bottom, left, right ect to place it wherever you want & even better (cause my palm constantly presses stuff no matter where it is), I figured out if you hit the little cross looking thing at the end of that menu bar, you can hide it altogether till you need it!! All that remains is that little cross looking icon so you can press that again whenever you want the menu bar back… I use that hiding feature constantly now I’ve found it!! 😁😁
I'm still waiting for my Supernote A5X to be delivered in a few days, therefore I may be wrong but as it doesn't _'appear'_ you can drag the page of an ebook up and down _[scroll]_ but only go to the next or previous page. Personally, I would like the option of being able to jump half way up or down the page in increments when I choose, so that if there is say two paragraphs of related text *I am studying* I can see both together whereas if the first paragraph was at the end of the current page and the second at the top of the next, I would then be inconvenience by the page break. I should imagine scrolling is ram intensive and thus with only 2GB Supernote in its present form steers away from scrolling but if you could up or jump down a page in 25% or 50% increments, that would circumvent such hardware limitations. But hey, when my device turns up in a few days I may discover that this is not an issue.
Yes I've done that up until the update and while better then at the top, you dont get all the same tools as when its docked up top. But docking it on right side was god send for me.
Thank you for your review! I've been flip-flopping all over the place mostly because these are expensive products to dive into, but your update is really helpful. Does the A5X have pressure sensitivity for calligraphy?
I am a supernote user as well, I have the A6X, I absolutely LOVE this device! To answer your question, I have also been eagerly waiting for new pens! The ratta team have posted on reddit about their plans to release new pens ( writing/artistic pen styles) on their tablet, on a future update. I can't remember when that is to be released but they are super comunicative and had to rearrange and reprioritize updates (this last one was a big one) so I am fully confident that they will update pen styles, just don't know when. I also requested a calligraphy pen!! I would LOVE that...I know they were working on a pressure sensitive "pencil" feature...so I know something will roll out....hopefully soon!
I know what you mean in terms of the expensive, I had same concern at first to. Since this cost as my as my Samsung S7+. But this is great device, I would buy it again if I had a do over I use this daily. To answer your question no sensitive at this point at least not on the level of my Samsung S7. It does have different shades you can use. Like commenter before said, its on their roadmap.
For my own use, I prefer no pressure sensitivity. As sometimes i tend to write harder, sometimes lighter. Prefer for me to set the device ,or allow or not allow pressure sensitivity to be switch on or off is better. As some prefer to have pressure sensitivity and some dont
Great review! Just watched your last update before this. As someone who uses this for notes, is there any sort of hand writing recognition/text conversion? Is handwriting searchable? I know one of the BOOX or remarkable eink's has live text conversion and I don't need that. But something like the Samsung Note text conversion would be perfect. That and the Google drive update are dream-level features.
Yes Searching via star symbol are available, you can search the pages marked by ☆. Also you can convert certain words into keywords then search as well. I'll try make a vid to show.
@@linzeeb4 Just put a quick video. There is also a document section where you can write and it changes to words and do more word doc editting. I never use, I write to sloppy so doesn't work well for me. I just use the notepad

whhhaaaaat. I need to try this. Thanks for the tip.
@@RandoRaf You're welcome! Supernote's channel has a good video on it: ruclips.net/video/skmy56Xgvyk/видео.html
@@RandoRaf YES! and also you can shrink it to the size of a pill! its awesome! I'm addicted to this device, I use it all the time!
Same with me. Leftie here too. I keep my menu at the bottom . Works great for notes but not with word docs.
@@lbsapa ya I had to move to bottom as well
You are adorable, informative, and fun to watch! Just ordered the Supernote A5X today. Solely for my writing........Stay Tuned!
Great to hear, you will love it. Mine gets used daily and has helped clear so much clutter off my desk.
Thankyou for this honest review .

Are yellow highlights still invisible in the Supernote Kindle app?
Thank you!
Does this update apply to the A6 as well?

Dock your toolbar to the bottom or right of the screen, and it will be out of your way as a lefty.

You mention that the Supernote does not support Google apps. Does it have a Web browser that allows login to Google drive and Microsoft office?
No, there is no browser. Only connectivity you have is to dropbox for files, email, calendar. They are working on adding google drive.
