- This is how I am using the Supernote A5X for my daily planning, task lists, scheduling, and note taking. Lots of tips in here for folks who might be new to this platform... and maybe a few tips for folks who have been around for a while.

Why not make a fake note book for the video instead of using your personal notes?
This has been one of the most helpful videos I've seen. I'm on the current preorder and OCDing while I wait. The star, title, global search functions were very important to me and is the reason why I went with Supernote over other platforms. Thanks for creating this content!
This is the best. Thanks for dropping some more knowledge on us PO. Others are slower to address pre-purchase questions but you get it, it's not just the high level mechanics that are important like it is to most, thats the trend I see anyway but PO owns it, shares a unique process and then walks it back and talks about how and where to use templates. There's a reason to subscribe to Everything right here.
Holy moly, Supernote have done an amazing job with their file management system. This technology is super exciting! Great assessment - subbed.
Love the daily planner template! Please tell me there are plans to release a 2022 planner. I just purchased the Supernote based on your videos and this would be extremely useful
Thanks for presenting this. I was absolutely able to look past the blurring. I just ordered the 5X and can't wait to get started. I am someone that needs to write things down to remember them. However, I need to be able to share written notes for leadership, project teams, and other depts.

I came across this on your 2022 planner reddit thread. Thanks for sharing your workflow, I did not know you could do half of these things since the Supernote is so powerful. I'll definitely incorporate some of these into my day to day.

Wow, you should work for SuperNote! Great review of its capabilities, and sounds like your ideas on accessing its storage while not with the device could really boost productivity as well. I'm sold. I'm buying one of these.

Thanks for this. I believe the technology is finally at a level where it's usable and the value added is how well the devices are at helping with a productive workflow. It's not only about taking notes anymore, but what you could do with them that you cannot do with physical notes. Unfortunately, it's on the selling of the (new) hardware where the money is.
Could you tell us what is that you'd like the Ratta to be able to do with notes and still doesn't?

Hi - thank you for taking us through the device as you use it. I am thinking about ordering the A5X and was debating between the LAMY pen vs. the Supernote pen (heart of metal or the standard one). I understand that the LAMY pen has an erase button. Does it have a ceramic nib like the Supernote pen?
I wish it had a meeting date and time stamp on the page, then you could title the meeting “Planning Meeting” for that particular client. OneNote does this.... maybe in a future update there will be an option. I ordered a R2 but will return for A5X, I need it for client notes from consulting. Seems like that would fit. Thank you
Thanks for this! Just pre-ordered one for my dad to use for his law firm. Pretty sure he's going to be blown away. Plus, he won't have legal pads stacked everywhere anymore. I hope at least!

Yes, he really likes it! There’s a bit of a learning curve for him but he’s getting the hang of it. Excited to see how it changes his workflow.
Awesome ! I have the A5x now for quite a while. Now I figured it is possible to use hyperlinked PDF with it. I love your video. It is very easy to follow your thoughts and the way you have set it up for your needs.Quick question, have you created the templates with Laurel Studio or what have you used for it ?
Wow! CPO and Voja from My Deep Guide have both become Supernote devotees virtually overnight ... now waiting to see if JB from Morning Coach will join the team!

Does the NOVA3/A5X (7.8inch) have hand-writing search and hand-writing to text conversion? I can't see it described anywhere and its important to me so I don't have to create text bookmarks all the time like I currently have to do on my surface in OneNote.
I want a primary e-paper note taker and kindle&epub reader so I can ditch my Kindle and let my surface be a PC (because OneNote just does not cut it).

I had an Onyx Boox note air - similar device but way to difficult to get to grips with. It could do everything but it was such a chore. I ended up sending it back and am now waiting for an A5x. It seems to me that the developers have really put some effort into making a device that has the functionality but is actually usable in the real word.
You should have received now I suppose , how do you find the difference between ?
How is the kindle app, cause it seems so sluggish?
I have been doing a research on the Note Air 2 and Supernote A5X, and finally pulled the trigger and ordered an A5X. For what I do, an engineer, there is no competition between the two. Supernote is way way better.

Yes you can read pdf, epub etc. And on the A5X and A6X you can use the kindle app
Any chance you'll be doing a 2022 version that we can download? I've been using this ever since I got my Supernote in November.
I am a real estate agent and got this for work so I don’t have to carry all of my client folders with me and have all of their important information with me. Where can I learn about creating my own templates? There is definitely a learning curve and I would like to find more videos to help get me up to speed as soon as possible. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

@@dgallagher4898 you can connect to your computer with a usb cable or copy the file to a usb drive and plug that into the supernote. It will show in your files and you can copy it.

I can't find the video where you share the PDF file or where to go to get it. This would help me so much with daily planning and would love to have this exact PDF. Do you also have a video of how you set up this table of contents?
Thanks for the video. I am scouting for one of these devices to replace my paper notebook checklist. What I am most interested in is the possibility to sync the tasks with online software (I manage projects on Zoho Projects) - your daily organisation method looks great, would love to be able to have this AND synced with my apps (same with , e.g, having the daily calendar from google or my caldav provider instead of your "scribbled" one.

In the manual it mentions the star to create a to do. But i can not create that star. Is there a shortcut ?
Is there a way we create our own template using excel and convert it to pdf and use it on supernote as template? As I have specific layout for my expenses layout.

Would you recommend the rm2 or this as of your findings so far. I just ordered the rm2 but now wondering if I should cancel it before it ships out this month and order this. Thanks
It depends. Really. No question the Supernote fits me better as a productivity device. The rM2 is better for drawing, but for how I use it, I recommend the AX5. So if this video sorta resonated with you, it would be worth considering.
@@EVERYTHINGcpo does the AX5 offer any thing like left-handed mode? The rM2 has one, but it still leaves the close document x button at the top left corner of the screen which means I exit out of every document I start writing in. I can work around it by hiding all the tools, but that just means I have to turn them on again EVERY TIME I want to change my pen, or line thickness, or anything. Is the A5X's top nav locked in place or can that be moved?
@@turkishtexan no. It has a floating toolbar that you can undock and move around... or hide... which is the solution to that problem, but no way to relocate the x when in the full docked position.
@@EVERYTHINGcpo thanks for the quick reply. I'm looking at a freeze frame at 5:24 of your Daily Workflow Video. Do you mean the x in the top right corner? If so that's not a problem at all, in fact the other small cluster of icons to the left of the x are also not an issue. It's just the stuff on the top left that bothers lefties when we're working at the top of a page. Stuff on the top right isn't in play because our hand is trailing behind the pen. If the floating toolbar includes the stuff currently shown on the top left than I'm pretty sure the device will work for me and my kind.

Now Im even more excited to get mine. How do you feel about the battery life? Ive read some complaints so far.
It’s not horrible. I use it everyday... and nearly all day at work. Last charge was Saturday over night. I’m at 35% this morning (Wednesday). So I’m probably getting 4 days heavy use. Maybe 5, but I’ll plug it in today.
Meanwhile... I just read this from one of the Ratta reps...
“The battery of the A5X is not bad. No one can write continuously within 7 hours.
We enter low power consumption by monitoring the closure of the folio, which can effectively reduce unnecessary power consumption.
We are about to release an update, when you lift the pen, the power consumption will drop rapidly. In this way, even in the working state, the power consumption performance of A5X will be much better than it is now. We will provide test data at that time.”
@@EVERYTHINGcpo 4 days is way better than I expected. I dont think I will use it as heavily as youve described so ot will probably last a bit longer for me. Thank you!
@@hambone1283 I have been using it a lot too! Testing and syncing etc. I have so Many things that I have to keep charged anyway, that plugging this in every few days doesn’t really bother me at all.
I have the A5x and I’ve barely used it bc quite honestly I was overwhelmed… so this is encouraging me to try again. For the daily calendar you use, do you have to link it to your quick view every day? Or does it switch to the current day automatically bc it’s a planner you uploaded?
I change it every day by basically moving the bookmark from page to page
This is exactly how I would use mines I can't wait to get my supernote. I think they disconnected the A5x I hope not I really need a big screen.
Imagine Outlook or One Note syncing with that task and calendar usage.... oh my that would be great.
And imagine that the star mark could be made a customizable thing. In other words, instead of just a star mark, you can "tell" the A5X of different marks. Star being one. Maybe an asterix being another, a question mark with parentheses around it (?) would be another. Etc. etc.
This is my dream...no lie

Hey CPO I have a question hoping and praying u can help me out i just receive the AX5 and I had some notes in there and I am not sure what the hell happen to them if I deleted them or not, because I'm still learning this tablet. Can I get these notes back and if so how. Also how I deleted certain pages.
If they are deleted, they are gone. Unless you are syncing and you can get them off the synced side (Dropbox or SuperNote cloud) from your phone or computer before it syncs. Sometimes I think I lost a whole page, only to find out I accidently swiped to a new page. I have to disable swiping to change pages (top right by the three dots) because I do this all the time. To delete certain pages. Tap the three dots at the top, go to overview, tap and hold a page and it will check it.. then you can check as many as you want and choose delete.
If you have lost an entire notebook, it might just be stored in a place you didn't expect to have it. Try looking in recent folders, or doing a search for "2021" which should pull up all the notes created if you didn't change the name (or search by the name you gave it). If you know what day you created it, you can search for it by "20210112" for example Jan 12, 2021.

Can you export your notes to your email? Integration or syncing to dropbox is costly as you have to pay monthly or yearly subscription. Hope they would allow it to be integrated to google drive.
You can send your notes as an attachement in an email from the Supernote. But you should export it in PDF first, lest you can't read it elsewhere.

In using the template for the daily planner, can you not create a title, and only key words?

I am! I was actually surprised. I figured I’d check it out, and then go back to the remarkable for daily use (which is what happened with the Boox devices). Somehow the AX5 has stolen me away. I couldn’t have predicted that !

Total waste of time claiming you are going to "show us how you use the day planner" and then blur out the pages so that we can't see anything, including headings etc.
Why did not you take the time to create a custom document and use it without blur. This is a wired way of presenting.

Have to say I didn't miss that... He did a good job explaining what's content and how he uses the template. Don't think seeing specific to do would've added anything
