Supernote is amazing. The more I use the more I like it. Its the perfect digital notebook for anyone who likes to write or draw. The company's customer service is unmatched. I had a suggestion for them that was implemented before i even got the device.
Totally! Second guessed it at first, and then things just started flowing. It's true, their customer service team is super nice. Nice OP-1 video, btw. Would be rad if they both collabed and made an e ink one!
Thanks, Ray! I feel like having a strong analogy can help with a lot of things in life-both by defining the problem and by getting you outside of the box, so you can find the solution. No more casinos for me. (:
This is not a review of companies' customer service, this is a review of which companies responded positively to a youtube account owner begging them for freebies.
I would say that one company taking weeks to reply with a couple sentences and another replying in a couple days with paragraphs of helpful info is a meaningful difference. Remarkable is known for their lack of responsiveness and focus on subscription income over new features. Just search "remarkable customer service reddit" and you'll see. Like I said, I thought the drawing on Remarkable was great, as well, but the portability of the Nomad was more useful to me. In terms of "freebies," do you think my time is free, ha? I make videos for a living and spending days producing a review in exchange for a useful product is no different than going to an office, earning money, and then buying that product.
Yea, I figured the HOS would have a better weight/construction, but I preferred the modern vibe of the Lamy and the triangle grip, which is now my fav of any stylus.
Oh really? Yea, I've been having a load of fun with Supernote. That'd be amazing if there was an e ink laptop. The closest e ink option would be a Boox Tab Ultra with the folio keyboard. bit.ly/3MV9iLq Most regular laptops have a B&W mode under the Accessibility settings.

The new Remarkable Pro uses a color e ink screen, which I considered, but unfortunately, it's Gallery 3, which has better vibrancy at the cost of really annoying flashing issues and a slow refresh. I had the alternative, Kaleido, on my Boox tablet, which had a faster refresh, but looked muddy. So, overall, I think color e ink just isn't ready yet. Grayscale e ink is a lot sharper, brighter, and faster.
@@AndrewFolts now that Ive read about the color particles and the electrical charges that the Gallery 3 is using I don’t think I’ll mind the weird flash before the non used pigments are dropped - the tech is just so cool. I love the Supernote, but I really wish SOMEONE out there would start manufacturing usable e-ink/e-paper monitors. There are now only 3 manufacturers - Boox, Dasung, Waveshare. Boox have discontinued their 13.3" montor, and the users' comments on the Dasung are not all that positive. The Waveshare has only 150 ppi resultion. So instead of having an array of useful monitors to choose from we have hundreds and hundreds of tablets that seem to be breeding and multiplying by the day. People who use complex apps and programs simply cannot work on a tablet. You'd think that in this day and age, someone would be able to create an eye-saving regular-sized monitor that is reliable and does not carry an absurd, exorbitant price tag. We need a 15-inch Supernote SCREEN that does NOT function as a tablet.
Yea, it sucks that Boox discontinued theirs, because I've been using my Mira Pro e ink monitor for over a year and I love it! I do 95% of my work in grayscale e ink, and if I can't imagine ever going back to LED. I do think B&H still carries the Mira Pro. bhpho.to/3iUU4Lf
