Name one movie besides this that Stewart has done that was actually worth a crap. There's a reason she is one of the most hated actresses in Hollywood. She can't act. She's always got her nose turned up at the world. Acts like somebody owes her a favor because she gets in front of a camera. Hopefully this role playing Princess Diana has mellowed her out some and she finally got some acting lessons lol! Part of me really wants to like her. The other part of me wants to smack the smug off her face.

People forget or are often unware pre and post Twilight, how phenomenal Kristen Stewart is as an actress. When you see an American in a British role, you go, and how's the accent because no matter how good, that can take you right out a film's potential to be good, but she has nailed it and the look and from the trailer, I can only guess, she's nailed the role as well because I genuinely want to see this. It is so hard to act as someone who is still this day, so beloved, but if you can pull it off, that's a testament to one's acting ability and good production all the way round.
Meh, shes ok, Patterson is far better.

Kristen looks absolutely smashing here! She’d definitely be getting that Oscar nomination with all the raves she’s getting, but it’s going to be more interesting to see if she’d get a BAFTA nomination.
At this point, it's a two horse race between her and Jessica Chastain in _The Eyes of Tammy Faye_ , however that film is getting a very mediocre response overall (it's in the low 60s on RT and low 50s on MC), so I expect that if the buzz keeps building, Kristen could become the frontrunner to _win_ the award for Best Actress! Here's to hoping...

That’s true BAFTA TV has continuously snubbed The Crown in acting categories like Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson who won almost the awards for TV did not get nominated even BAFTA favourite Olivia Colman did not get a nom. So it could be similar

I was on a site that had over 44 reviews on “Spencer” and nearly every single reviewer except for one, raved about Kristen’s performance. Seeing tons of reviewers praising Kristen’s portrayal of Diana and even calling it, “the performance of the year”, is amazing. Literally the best reviews I have read for any actress in 2021.

When I first heard about this, I'll admit I did not have high hopes. I didn't think Kristen Stewart could pull this off. I just saw the movie this afternoon and I couldn't have been more wrong. She doesn't so much look like or impersonate Diana as much as she has captured Diana's essence (or what I imagine her essence to be). She has some of Diana's mannerisms, but doesn't attempt to copy Diana. I was totally lost in her performance and 100% believed she was Diana, not Kristen. This movie was brutal to watch, but excellent. It will stay with me for a long time. I hope she gets the Oscar.
Maybe now people can finally have a movie to remember her by, all the haters only remember Twilight, but she's a phenomenal actress, and I'm glad she's finally get a film that'll showcase that for the world.

Kristen nailed it . This movie highlights how Diana was boycotted in the royal family. It reveals her issues of mental health after her marriage was falling apart due to Charles’s affair with Camilla . Her love for Harry and Williams was commendably shown . This movie is an amazing tribute to the Princess of Whales .
I don’t normally put my thought into the Oscars, but I feel like this may just be Kristen’s chance for a nomination, and possibly a win. Even just from this small peak.

I've just seen this in cinema! The visuals are so pleasing and artsy and Kristen is playing it with richness and honestly! Really pleased I got to see it.
I'm embarrassed to say that I had no idea that this movie was about the Diana Spencer, but I have always been a huge fan of Kristen Stewart, so I decided to watch it. I was so impressed with her stunning performance. She completely channeled Diana's every move and emotions. Kristen is stunning and I was so mesmerized at every move and the way she conveyed emotions with her eyes and through body movements truly made Princess Diana come to life. I have always been rooting for Kristen after her Twilight days. She is a natural and emotionally gifted actor and I'm so happy for her. This is definitely a captivating Oscar worthy performance and I hope she wins as it would be so well-deserved. And hope this will shut all the haters up. Kristen Stewart is and has always been the real deal. She and Diana were so similar in so many ways, so she was the perfect actress to play Diana. Bravo and Encore!

If you’re going to judge an actor, then analyze ALL of his or her work, and not just a select-few commercialized films. Just from the trailer alone you can really see her growth as a brilliant actress.
I couldn’t picture her as Diana, and after seeing he trailer, I still don’t see it. But I will say she has mastered the accent well, and she evokes the same sad eyes and tense body language that Diana displayed.

What an amazing story this is. Kristen Stewart did an amazing job portraying Princess Diana. I hope the boys will be able to come to terms with the death of their mum. She was a great lady, who went through so much. But one thing she had that no one can take from her is the love William and Harry had for her. She gave them unconditional love, joy and hope for a chance to know, that being in their position, they could change the world. They have a chance to make sure that their children get a chance at making this life more fruitful for those that are living in poverty. They have the power to get people to work together for a stronger and more peaceful world.

I have ALWAYS loved Kristen Stewart as an actress and the movie was SENSATIONAL! Oscar nominee? NO, she will win best actress I can feel it. Princess Diana is such an iconic public figure and I still love her til this day. She portrays Diana in a way no one knew (even myself) but seeing one of the last interviews with the Princess of Wales, you can see the internal destruction that she suffered being part of the Royal family. Bravo for this role Kristen, it's a 5 stars for me. Across the board.
