Apple & Chicken Burger
Ingredients for the Patty
Boneless Chicken -250 gms
Apple (grated and the juice squeezed out)-1
Onion (finely chopped)-1/2
Ginger-garlic paste paste-1 tsp
Finely chopped Coriander leaves-1 tsp
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil to cook the patties-2 tbsp
Other Ingredients
Bread slices cut into roundels -4-6
Lettuce leaves-as required
Mayonnaise -2 Tbsp
Mustard-½ tbsp
Ketchup-½ tbsp
METHOD
Grind the chicken, add the grated apple, onion, coriander leaves, gg paste. Season with salt, mixed herbs & pepper. Mix well.
Take small portions & shape them into patties. Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry them for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden on the outside.
Take bread slices & cut them into round shapes with a cookie cutter. Toast them on the same pan as the patties. Take a bowl, add mayo, ketchup & mustard. Mix well.
Add the sauce to the base of the bread, place the lettuce leaves on top, then the patty and close with another slice of toasted bread roundel..
Seal with a toothpick.
