I also should add that I got married later than most of my friends (33) so that also played into my decision as a lot of my friends had newborns & young children and being a bridesmaid might have felt more like a “yikes!” than a “yay” for them. There were lots of lil’ awarenesses that came to mind that went into the decision. Your wedding is a personal expression of your individual personalities coming together so everyone’s ideas & heartstrings will be different. But I wanted to share for those who might be in the same boat & gathering ideas.
