I also should add that I got married later than most of my friends (33) so that also played into my decision as a lot of my friends had newborns & young children and being a bridesmaid might have felt more like a “yikes!” than a “yay” for them. There were lots of lil’ awarenesses that came to mind that went into the decision. Your wedding is a personal expression of your individual personalities coming together so everyone’s ideas & heartstrings will be different. But I wanted to share for those who might be in the same boat & gathering ideas.

Yesssss!!! There is still an old book that I think about often. When I was in my 20s, I was at a temporary job and I asked the most successful sales person what advice he has for me. He gave me an old leather bound copy of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. He just told me to read that. I have moved many times since then and somehow lost it along the way. I really hope it surprises me and pops up one day somewhere.
Or it made its way to another person that needed it, both equally magical. But 💯it would be cool if 20 years from now you found it inside one of those neighborhood mini-libraries.
