I love Stanley products. Now I know this is an old video but I wanted to share my story about eating on the road and using different products. Use to be an otr coast to coast driver. I used a 12volt lunch box oven that plugged into a cigarette lighter. I would bake or steam food in this thing every day and it saved me a ton of $$$. In fact, I lost weight by not eating at every truck stop I went by. I also used a small isobutane stove to boil water. I think this is the reason I now have a large collection of camp stoves.
Sold! Fabulous experiment. I have been searching for a hot food container which really keeps my lunch hot all day. Many claim that they can but none of the of the ones I have tried even keep food hot for 3 hours. As a science geek, I really enjoyed your scientific approach to testing the efficacy of this product.
Thanks, I use it daily at the factory for a hot lunch. Just heat up the container with boiling hot water first. Pour it out when your ready to put hot food in it. Found it keeps my food nice and hot. Hope you enjoy.
I own and love that STANLEY ALL-IN-ONE FOOD JAR. I mate it with an Ozarks Trail stainless steel camp cup. The cup fits perfectly upside-down on the ALL-IN-ONE FOOD JAR' lid. I also have the OZARKS TRAIL 30oz plastic lid for the camp cup. This combo married together works well for me when kayaking, hiking, etc. The STANLEY Boil-N-Brew French Press for coffee and as an extra cook pot make a complete on-the-go kitchen that's small yet built like a tank for durability. Sometimes I'll switch out the BOIL-N-BREW for the STANLEY COMPACT COOK SET and that combo works great too. I enjoyed your video and I hope your trip is a safe, fun Get-away for you. 😊

I love this little can. I use it alot for fishing at the river and pond. With inflation right now i dont want to be eating out alot on these trips. So i picked this up because i been using stanley's themos the tall can which i fill with hot water for my Irish/English breakfast tea. I love this can. I fill it with soups/stews and chili beans. The spoon is small and awkward though. Once filled it kinda heavy. I hook it on a carabine on my tackle bag.😄
I like it a lot as well. I use it to take hot lunches to work with. Mostly soups and stuff like that. But I have done spaghetti in it before. It works great I think it's the best thing I've bought in a long time. And I hear you on the inflation and eating out. I stopped at a local place here just recently and was looking at getting some tacos. Three tacos and a drink was over $10. Needless to say I did not get the tacos. So yeah if I'm going any place or anything I'm taking food with me and I'm doing my own lunches. Thanks for the comment and Views brother you have a great night.
Thank you for your video. I just received this thermos as a Christmas gift. I had an off brand one I purchased for myself but it would be cold within 2 hours.
Just purchased one of these and when I got it I liked it, everything was fine but the little attachment that holds the spoon is a little loose I wonder if that's common.

I do not have the legendary food jar so take what I say here with a grain of salt. But after looking at it online I see differences in size, volume and finish. I also see different spork and spoon options. If it is built like other Stanley products It is probably quality. I have never got a bad one myself and Only have ever heard of one bad one from a guy I know. Fun fact he reached out to Stanley and told them it would not hold its heat more than an hour. Ok, when I searched online I got some different sizes and such. Off the top of my head I don't think there is any difference between them. Is it safe to bring chicken or beef? Taking into account that I need it to be hot for at least 6 or 7 hours, obviously above the "danger zone that would be above 60 degrees Celsius, the ideal would be for it to be at least 70 degrees" do you recommend it for that? Do you think it maintains that temperature for at least 6 hours? Thank you so much.
I have had chicken noodle soup in mind for 5 hours, and it was still piping hot. I don't think 6 hours or more would make that big of a difference. But I went ahead and I pre warmed the bottle with hot boiling water then dumped the hot boiling water out then put my hot almost boiling soup in it.
I don't see why not. Only thing I would do before I put the hot rice and meat in there as I would heat it up with boiling water for a minute or so. Pour it out and put in your hot meat and rice. Thanks for the comment and views.
