I just got a 40 oz. widemouth 24-hour Thermos for 80-cents at a thrift store. Thought I might be able to cook Minute Rice or instant oatmeal. Blown away by the variety possible.
Good point. Start after breakfast, ready for lunch. I'll put it in description. Thanks for watching and commenting! You get an A+ for helpful feedback.
I use Couscous, soup mix, and a can of Tuna All goes in a heated insulated cup Only takes 5 minutes You can use rice noodles, or thin vermicelli noodles, but those take ten minutes!
great video... but you have to heat up the water, so can always just cook where you're heating the water. but i get it. i actually tried it.. came out good
It gives the idea you can boil your water on the camp stove or grill when the powers out. Less fuel to bring to a boil vs. the amount of fuel to cook it.
Sure has! The thing is, it is a BEAST. It is a thick blade. The thing is very well put together. I think it was one of the blades that I took to the Amazon and used. I could be wrong about that, but I did an article for Blade some years back about "Hard Use Folders In the Amazon." I could totally be misremembering that, as I don't have a copy of the article in front of me. Tell the guy hi from me when you order.
So, in India, we have a similar dish called Rajma Chawal (rajma meaning the red beans and chawal meaning rice).
Nice video. Thanks
Great tip for prepping a quick lunch in the morning before I run out the door.
Added to my " cooking "
Playlist.
Thanks !
I’m really impress how you can cook food like this 👍
I tried this yesterday, and it was fantastic.
