Turns out the horse was NOT SHOT after all, but lived to a happy retirement age. Watch the ENTIRE MOVIE to understand the horse's rescue. Meanwhile, how does it follow that a movie featuring black people living in the South is automatically about slaves? This assumption feels painfully racist...

I definitely am NOT enjoying this part of the movie where she makes her slave shoot the horse that her husband was riding when he fell off n died I the hunt. They should be ashamed of themselves for 1. Having slaves, n 2. Sending an innocent creature of God like a fox to be chased by dogs to kill the fox calling it the hunt cuz they r riding after it for sport. If they would have done some work themselves instead of using slaves they would have been too tired to have to abuse themselves by the horrifying custom of the so-called hunt!!!

Lacking knowledge of historical traditions and trying to apply them to today’s culture. It’s only 40 years from the turn of the century.

Now that you've just cried your little heart out over things IN A FICTIONAL MOVIE, do you feel better?
You really need to see a psychiatrist, or a priest, or perhaps an exorcist.
The rest of us are living in the real world..................stop by and visit sometime. 'Always room for one more'.

I recently watched a State Trooper episode. The title of it was The case of the paper hangers and it was staring Carolyn Jones. I don’t remember if she was a good actress or not but I just thought she was physically ugly. She had short black hair and she wore it straight and close around her face. I just thought she was ugly. If she had worn it longer and looser. I think she might have been prettier.

~ Carolyn had an unusual look. I thought she was attractive and loved her as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family, that's where you can see her acting... maybe other movies?
Sadly she was only 53 when she died of colon cancer.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Carolyn Jones had a look of her own starting with those beautiful large eyes.
