Wow. This was a massive help for me. I don't use After Effects very much, but over the last 5-8 years of periodically using it here and there for miscellaneous projects, I guess I built up a bigger Cache folder than I realized. 360GB back on my hard drive just like that! Thanks so much.
Great it worked! I got a question, maybe you know the answer, I have only one project I'm still working on in Adobe Premierre Pro. When I delete ALL cache files does this effect my project, where I already rendered a lot of frames?

Thought I'd leave a comment for people who are anxious around technology like me - I was super nervous seeing all those files get deleted but don't worry! It doesn't delete anything important! I haven't lost a single file and everything still runs like normal (only this time way more smoothly)

This cleared 100's of GB's. I would go into preferences in Ae and Pr frequently and clear cache but it would never really free up space. Guess they don't really do much. Adobe is such a pain. Thank you so much for this video!
