The ULTIMATE Car-Wash FOAM GUN | New Tool Tuesday

- Welcome to another episode of #NewToolTuesday. There are plenty of different ways to get a dirty car clean again. Some ways may be safer than others. Some people like using sand paper and dust, others like using the two bucket method. I prefer neither of those options, which is why I like using this fully adjustable foam sprayer. It makes maintenance washes and full vehicle details so much safer as you are constantly applying fresh soap to the paint.

There are 2 different models that Gilmour offers. They make a plastic version of the same sprayer (goo.gl/Hgq3EF), but I find it to be not as durable as the high-quality brass model. I originally purchased the plastic version years back, but it did not last me. The build quality of the brass sprayer is MUCH MORE durable and is just a few dollars more.. literally.

This is the best way to wash your car. Saves a ton of time since you're not messing with setting up a pressure washer. Only you don't need to spray the foam while making passes with your mitt. After the initial foam / rinse cycle you can just foam one panel at a time and wipe with your mitt. All of this is assuming you regularly wash your car and there isn't caked on shit.
I've had my gilmour for more than 15yrs. Still going strong.
ahh, the no bucket method, i like this, just minus all the wasted soap while "trying to keep the mitt lubricated" while it was facing the paint lol
Exactly, he just wasting all the soap
Yes... I was lamenting over all that soap being wasted too.
Thanks for the info! I was going to buy a power washer but maybe I’ll continue using this foam gun for a while using your method.
Best video I’ve seen. Love the soap breakdown in the beginning. Well done Sir!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks! ✌️
Great video thanks for the info. I normally use a pressure washer, but it becomes a hassle getting it out and then storing it away. This way seems smart with little effort on setting up and clean up.
Great video man very well spoken direct and to the point
I use this system. Quick and easy to use. No muss - no fuss. Use quick hose connects for added convenience.
Thank you! I have spent weeks trying to find out what the difference is between the Hyper Wash and the Shampoo Plus. You're the first person to know the difference and explain it. I even contacted Meguiar's and there response was nonsensical.
You have been washing that car so well, that you managed to remove the black paint from the front grill..😂😂
yes the Gilmour foam gun does a respectable job of foaming. I have been using one for awhile now and for the cost it's a great deal.
I would suggest that you wash your wheels first then wash the car. Aside from that it's a good video for beginners that don't want to use the two bucket method.
Cheers!
Cool - New tool Wednesday! Another great vid Milan. Keep 'em coming.
Will do brother!! 😁
I love that gun been using it for years love new tool Tuesday keep it up man
Glad to hear it James :)
For people who dont have a pressure washer, it looks handy.
Wow, fantastic. Really helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent , thanks man . Gonna get that gun
Awesome video as always
Nice man, keep up the good work love these new videos
Thanks Alan!! 😁
Wow! Thank you. I needed someone to teach me how to do it properly
You are a step ahead man respect 🧐
Thanks. I’m pretty lazy about washing my cars but this looks Zen. That blower tip is going to be used.
Sheesh finally a good vid been looking for a vid like this good video G
Glad you enjoyed
Haven't seen this method before. I like it
I would recommend rinsing the mitt every once in a while. If you want to stick close to your method, them perhaps one bucket will do. I still with my own method but thanks for the info and I might try those soaps.
Not bad... Thanks for some nice ideas
Nice job Milan 👍👍👍
Just ordered my Gilmour.....Good vid
I'd call that a Done Deal 😉
I have a pressure washer with built in soap dispenser. It doesn't foam but it sprays soap all over and rinses the dirt off. I would rinse first using low pressure, use soap dispenser, wash mit (put it in bucket of water so dust and small particles are removed), rinse with pressure washer and then dry with microfibre towel or chamois.
Great video!
Great underrated channel keep up the great work milan
Thanks I appreciate it job well done
That leaf blower trick is more useful than the foamer lol good video!
Lol, no fucking shit.
Does using a leaf blower decrease the likelihood of dust sticking to your car, as opposed to drying it with microfiber towels?
Bro when ever he did that i gained 1000 brain cells
I need one of them!!
Great video. Just curious, what is the source of water is it just from a tap or is it coming out of a pressure washer? The spirally tube i have seen usually at car wash centres connected to some kind of machine.
Right on target!
You're like the only other person I've seen rinse after foam. Bugs me when people just spray on foam them start scrubbing 🤣
Just got this Gilmour Foamer today and am going to try it out washing my car tomorrow. Question: You said when the mitt gets dirty you just spray it with the nozzle...I'm assuming you spray with just the water? or you spray it with the soap coming out ? In other words, do you remove the quick disconnect foam gun from the other nozzle and just spray fresh water out onto the mitt? Thanks for sharing the video, was very helpful...keep up the good work Milan!
Great Video!
Thanks Sergio!! 🙌
Nice I got the foam cannon from chemical guys and it’s similar thanks for the great tips
They work very well :)
Where did you get that water hose from ?? I need it / good video BTW , it had me buy the foamer lol
That's fantastic. How can I get one earliest for my washing Bay? Can't wait.
Great review, brother. The less you have to touch the finish, the less you abrade it. Dig it.
The 350z Track wheels look great on the accord.
Wow car looks polished
hey Milan can you tell me where I can purchase the gun that connects to the garden hose with the quick coupler set up on it, please
What kind water hose your using?
The rays looking good on the accord
Thanks Mumble!! I think they suit the car rather nicely :)
that's what i need, where can i get one from
This is helpful
Great vid! You in Toronto?
What kind of garden hose you are using?
Accord my love 😍
🙃
Those work ..
Hi Milan - YOU'RE THE MAN!!
Charles, SO ARE YOU!! 👊
milanmastracci 👍
hi, i would like to ask where can I buy one of this foam sprayer now?
Where u get this from
Nice Honda!
After watching wash videos 3 or 4 hrs a day for the past 2 weeks, ive learned ive been doing many of the same techniques you professionals are doing. At the same time my mind is continually blown away. The no bucket method actually seems like it would be the best. Until ones form and skill sharpened, it also seems like a way to use a lot of product and water. Im washing my Cadillac as soon as my foam gun arrives.....no buckets!
Thanks for your comment!
Not bad if you don't feel like bringing out the pressure washer. But if you gonna go through this trouble anywyss might as well go all out and get mtm sprayers
Just bought the cheap upgraded one they have at Walmart for $30. I'm curious to see how It works. I was thinking about buying a pressure washer but figured I have nothing to lose with trying a spray gun first. If this Isn't good I'll just buy the one you got, that looks like a decent amount of foam. No need to have to setup a pressure sprayer and clean It all up afterwards. Keeping It simple Is best.
How did the v2 of the foam gun turn out?
The best❤
Love you video
Thanks dude!! 👊
What's the hose nozzle adapter called?
Shared and liked ur video
🔥🔥🔥
Milan what would you use to get rid of any existing waxes on paint? I thought about using dish soap and putting it into a foam cannon on a pressure washer, rinsing it off and then washing a whole car using a wash mitt with "two bucket method" and regular car soap. Is that a good idea?
Chemical guys clean slate with same method.
in case you did not get my email I said it looks like the bottom has an mesh filter/ areator screen? does this help its ability to foam? thank you
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Where can I find that foam gun???
Where did you get that hose
Where can I get that soap??
is it available in indonesia?
Milan if I add wax Everytime I wash my car for like a year should I strip the wax out and rewax it?
Every once in awhile wouldn't hurt :)
Any tips on washing a white car. Or maybe have video washing one.
That camera quality, its so rare to see a video max your phones resolution
Leaf blower??
Does it Have a filter our are you pushing dirt and dust towards the paint. I have used leaf blowers in the past but noticed fine scratches. Quit using the blower and started using plush microfiber towels and now no more fine scratches. I'm just saying a leaf blower sucks air in and blasts it or without a filter. Great video though
Ayyy Accord gang
The foam is just for show, the wash itself is what lifts all the dirt off the car, the foam can stop it from running down. Pressure washer is good to force embedded dirt off the car in the pre-rinse. Watch obsessed garage video with rupes training.
Nice
Man it really sucks i just bought one but now only have 2 setting for the soap and is nothing like the setting 5 on urs it really sucks
I learned many things for your video love you bro
Can you do a New Tool Tuesday on that DeWalt cordless blower?
Sure :)
I like to overkill on my foam because I think it clings onto the dirt much better
what percentage of the bottle was used when you applied it twice over your car? - the reason i ask is im looking a similar tool which comes with a 100ml bottle. would that be enough?
Probably for a time or two. The hopper is a litter container, which I have put about 50ml's of concentrate into the bottom of. With that being said, you can adjust the ratio of soap to make it more or less sudsy.
I would like to have a link to purchase that garden hose that you're currently using for gadget
This should be what you're looking for: amzn.to/2nXlkbR
Can anyone school me on what I did wrong ? Did tires first. I got my car wet and then I did the gilmour foam gun all over the car. Let it sit for about a minute (washed it inside my garage so no sun and it’s not hot today) then rinsed it. Then went over it again with the foam gun and microfiber mitt from top to bottom. Then used my Worx leaf blower to dry the car a bit and as I was using the iron remover and then bead maker I noticed water marks on my hood ? Is it because I had no protection on the paint prior to today so the water didn’t slide off the car which caused this ???
Nice,.....
Bello Guy , What is the machine that you used to dry your car?
Hello Fabiano, I used this; amzn.to/2DpPUpe
I use a wire brush mitt lol. Looks good 👍
Do i need compressor or something
opinion on the chemical guys stuff?
Hey Milan I have recently ceramic coated my car which soap are safe to use to wash my without stripping the ceramic coating ?
So a ceramic coating will not be removed by simple washing, regardless of the soap. The only way a ceramic coating will come off is with abrasion (improper hard washes / polishing).
Not true. Ceramic coatings can be very well damaged by very acidic and alkaline solvents, which can easily diminish most of their beneficial properties. Of course they are more resistant to them than other sealants, but they're not immune to them by any means. So, whatever soap you're using, make sure it's close to pH neutral. Also make sure that the soap you are using does not leave behind anything on the surface (except for possibly SiO2), because if they do (like soaps with added waxes, or dish soaps, which also leave behind a glossy residue) those will again diminish the original beneficial properties of the ceramic coating (like hydrophobicity).
milanmastracci thanks buddy
Use chemical guys wash for ceramic. Also do not wash your car with other car wash soap. I had my coated with sonax
Dude hypothetically speaking what do you charge to work on cars ??
Why did you dilute it? You turned hyper wash into regular wash.
The amazon link says the foam sprayer doesn’t ship to Canada. Where did you get it?
goo.gl/hox7nV
Would appreciate the name of the gun somewhere on screen. Couldn't find it as you mentioned "in the link below"! Just a suggestion to help your viewers.
Keep the mitt lubricated was waste of soap. Leaf blower trick was good
Is it really that serious I don’t know
So would this work well for trucks?
Of course it would. Why would it not?
can you find that foam gun at Canadian Tire?
It's the old version. Look for gilmour foam master 2. Lifetime warranty. It's on Amazon.
Bird already pooped on it at 6:20 above the passenger headlight
I think that may have been bug guts I didn't fully remove lol
that’s not a want... it’s a NEED!
Yaeh but it takes alot of soap to work well.Mine uses 4-8 oz to work well.
