I’m all for the $10 sprayer. Sure the 75 and 90 ones are better but the price difference is ridiculous in my opinion. I would just carry a replacement back up.
After going through my 4th $10 sprayer... I kinda wish I went with $75 at the beginning, at least I can start enjoy good canon from the beginning.... Only wish I knew 7 years ago.....
Let's be honest. We all buy these foam cannon's so we can see the best foaming action when foaming our cars and the MJJC Pro foamed by far much better than the top dog MTM PF 22.2. I'll definitely be adding that to my arsenal!! Thanks for the great comparisons!
I got one of the mjjc pros, it should be arriving today. I can't wait to give it a shot. Also I hear that some of these foam cannons could preform better with a 1.1mm hole instead of the 1.25 they have installed.
$75 was the best for me. The foam action 🤯sheeesshh My $10 foam cannon also performed pretty badly (A lot of extra water coming from the top and bottom of the cone) when I would close the valve pretty tight, so I have to have the valve open around the same space as the $90 one. I think the $90 manufacturers also realized that fault, so they set the valve space limit.
That's because you have wax build up in the filter inside. The mechanism is the exact same from cheap to expensive. You leave residue in the bottles it works it way up and sits in the filter. Clogs it. Poor foam
I bought a cheap foam cannon when I first got it all setup, I seriously will just be going with the $75 unit just for the peace of mind. I think it is insane because I am sure the mark-up is huge since it’s fairly simple stuff, but ease of filling up and solid foam and I wont have to worry about it for a long time. Appreciate the review man.
MJJC for the win! Your previous review had me buy one. I have seen nothing compare. Also great advice about replacing the orifice, I have a simple SunJoe electric power washer, and the foam it produces is untouchable. Super thick. Remember everyone, lay the foam down on a dry vehicle. Not on a wet one, it allows the foam to stick to the dirt.
Good advice, I have been doing it incorrectly by giving it a rinse first. Muscle memory from using the hose and sponge, where I always rinse first before soaping by hand.
I had the MJJC. It was my first foam cannon. The foam coming out from that canon was insane. But, the thing about the MJJC foam cannon is that the plastic threading wears off. So when I had it for about seven months it detached while I was forming a car and left a big mess on the floor. In my opinion, the MTM foam cannon is the best. I had the MTM for two years and it’s bulletproof and the plastic threading is designed that it won’t wear off.
Which MJJC cannon did you have? I have both the PF22.2 and MJJC Pro V2. I find the MTM threads on the bottle to be average, to me the MJJC threads would hold up better cause the threads on the head are plastic. Also foam and stability wise I feel the MJJC wins. The pf22.2 is overpriced at this point since it lacks so many features.
Just earned my sub a minute in. I can already tell you’re a genuine guy who wants to help people make the best decisions for their money, and also who’s passionate about these things and what you do. Thanks brother.
I have a MJJC, and I absolutely love it, has a wide mouth, provides shaving cream foam and the bottle is very stable, very well made, a winner to me. Thanks for the video!
Your extra thoughts and opinions on usage and features are very informative and helpful. Thank you for taking the time to put so much effort in to your videos.
DUDE IVE OWNED it for 2 years now. love it and worth it. I add LESS soap and still get MORE soap than my very first foam cannon that i ever got. like you said, easy to fill up with the wide mouth. ive used the 100 dollar one too at work. the only plus is the nozzle clicks and easier to adjust but i can live with the 75 for the wide mouth
Im a Weekend Warrior and i went from an Amazon cannon to the MJJC and ive never looked back. It has all the features I need and is worth the $50-60 bucks you pay for it.
MATCC snow canon for the win in my book. Paid around $20 for it if I recall and it has been awesome and never failed. It look very similar to your 10 dollar model, but the head does articulate and it lays down foam like crazy. I would like to offer a little trick since all soaps are not created equal and that's to put your soap in the container and add warm water ( not cold ) as many soaps will break down and mixed with the water much easier creating better foam results.
I've got the mjjc for £49 very very happy with it I have a ford transit grand connect and can do the who vehicle in one go with a mega coating. The tool is so well built could say like a tank, you don't feel like if you drop the bottle its going to get damaged so happy with it, and I'm a real value for money guy.
I tossed the Greenworks one that came with my washer after 1 use. Got the MJJC Pro from referencing another video, works great! The size of the mouth is a HUGE factor., it can save you minutes per use and not to mention wasted product.
I have one of the $10 ones and it works fine. It has the drawbacks you talk about, likes to tip over especially when nearly empty and the neck is too small. Nice thing is if I need to replace it doesn't hurt nearly as bad.
So the MTM has a small neck opening, has a zinc disconnect that you seem recommend to replace, and it don't fully close, on top of all those disadvantages it has the highest price point. Seems the $10 is the way to go.
Buy the $16 Feng Pai or $28 1.5L Tool Daily. Both of these foam better than any of the lower end ones, and just as well as MJJC. Supposedly the higher end ones are just built off the Feng Pai one. The performance of both of these absolutely blew me away, using Meguiars Ultimate Snow Foam. I haven’t even tried my tried and true Gold Class!
Great review! I had something similar to the 10$ f.cannon that I bought locally advertised as pro for 45$ that works well. However, I did the upgrade to the MTM.PF22.2 BUT, the bottle on the 45$ has better quality than the one on the MTM.PF22.2 (easy to squeeze). On both, the downside is the orifice, quite small to put the detergent or to clean it up. From the review Jeremy, I would go with the MJJC, bigger orifice, "bell" shape bottle and appears to be a good quality material on the bottle and on the whole f.cannon. You have the vertical and horizontal option for the foam, steel bearing on the hose. And top foam!
I bought the mjjc 2 Christmases ago. Used it again today and it still produces thick foam like the day i first used it and it lays on the foam thick top to bottom. Ive zero issues with mine so far
My absolute favorite, hands down, is the Griot's Garage Brilliant Finish Foam Cannon for $64.99. It's the only cannon I've used that was able to unseat my MTM PF22.2.
I upgraded from my MTM Version 2 to my MJJC version 2. Also, the weighted ball in the mmjc feed tube makes a big difference when running low on product inside the bottle.
I live on a budget and I'm not a pro detailer, so, I'm down with the $10 foam cannon. Perhaps I'll be able to upgrade to the MJJC or the MTM, but will stick with what I can afford for now. Cool video and thanks for posting!!
I always struggled with the cheapo foamers because the internals start rusting with regular use, and the foam consistency degrades over time. I used to wash my cars about twice a month and every year I needed a new foamer. I am on the MTM now, great foam output, but the small neck really frustrates me when I am trying to rinse it. I recommend a screw on funnel from Adams or Griots.
Being new to the world of foam cannons….perhaps a too basic question: is thicker foam doing a better cleaning job? Can imagine there is some sort of sweet spot wrt to the thickness….
I like it to be thick and cling for a long time. This makes the dwell time of the product longer to enable it to break down more dirt and also the thick foam prevents it from drying on the paint as quickly. Thats my thoughts anyway. Thanks for watching
I know this is an older video, but I wanted to make a quick comment. I tested out a "cheap" cannon off Amazon and compare side-by-side to my MJJC. As crazy as it sounds, the cheap cannon stunned me in its ability to kick out very thick and consistent foam. The Tool Daily Foam Cannon only cost me 19 bucks and the components have held up fine through many customer washes. My thought is, for 19 bucks, I can get several for the summer help and if they do drop it and something fails, I'm not at a big loss. If they dropped my MJJC, I'd be pretty heartbroken.
Great review. I had a $80 chemical guys foam cannon, that was trash. I bought the MJJC, I will NEVER go back to the chemical guys bottle. Out of all of these cannons, I think the MJJC won the battle.
I use the Sooprinse $20 foam cannon. You should include that one in here. I'm really impressed with it. Definitely not as thick foam as the MJJC, but definitely good bang for your buck. I think I might upgrade to the MJJC just so I can get that super thick foam action
Honestly you're very funny and I must say that you are a very good presenter,I subscribed to your channel immediately because I love to hear from you again.I wish you the very best.
Great review looks like your air intake screw on your pf22.2 is rusting badly replace with a M4 x10mm stainless screw quick cheap fix ,keep up the great reviews
Hi there! Would be cool to see a "budget" version of equipment for a total walkthrough of car cleaning. I'm just starting to build my kit and would like to invest money in what you think is the best bang for buck equipment that isn't the absolute highest tier. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos and share your honest feedback!
They all good especially the $35 bottle just maybe by removing the filter from the plastic end will give you better result, remember the soapy solution is thicker than water.
Thank you sir! I've been debating over these cannons and you just confirmed my original choice. Bell shaped, big opening!!! I didn't think about it tipping over or when you have to empty it out. Small things but they are irritating to me.
the small neck of the MTM is the reason to buy quite honestly..Alot of the ones with large necks the weight of the water makes it disconnect easily wasting all your mix. MTM thought this out, it's super stout.
the new top dog foam cannon is the Griots Brilliant finish foam cannon but you must buy the teal tip on their website to get the max performance on it its actually a secret feature that it has .. it crushes the MTM by a long shot! !! give it a shot on your channel ! its a solid foaming cannon the suds stick to the paint and does not run like MTM does do not get the boss version.. its not as good as the brilliant finish version
The MTM can sometimes be a little picky with the concentrations of product to water, but its a great all arounder. I would like to see the $35 model tried without the "filter" attached to the hose end, I have a feeling that may be why it was acting weird. The new Griots cannon, not rhe Boss, but the slightly cheaper unit, seems to have a lot going for it. To be honest, while I love the look and feel of that extra thick foam, and its fun to use, I have a feeling it actually does a worse job of actually cleaning the surface than foams that are a little runnier. If its super thick, most of it won't make contact with the surface, it also doesnt have enough water to actually wash away the dirt. But hey, i guess thats what the rinse is for, lol!
I know what you mean. I like thick foam as it gives me more working time to get around the vehicle. Thin foam starts drying right away in this hawaii heat. If the foam is thick and clings well I can get all the way around with no problem. Fun to use too. Hahahaa. Thanks for watching
@@HawaiiDetailing didn't think of that, but that makes sense. I'm in cooler environment so the working time is bit longer here. Thanks for the insight.
The brilliant finish Griot’s foam cannon is awesome! Because of the thick foam it produces with the large mouth and the price point, I think it beats the MTM
Great review man... Thanks ... I was fed up with my Bowdens snow cannon bottle because the top narrow screw part always broke. Now just ordered the MJJC from Australia :-)
Congrats from Toluca, 🇲🇽. We are coleges, out company does the Recon for an american auction. To make and wash with foam is an art, i like your video. We use Stinger Chemicals, Tornador accesories and Comet high pressure pumps, 3R vacums with Ameteck motors and localy made Swipe cleaners. Regards and the best for you. Ohhh, and great shop…it’s a lab!
i have to say, since i only wash my 2 vehicles, and i do not use foam that much unless i go a few weeks without washing, i would choose the $10 one, but if i had a detailing business i would choose the $75 one, to me it seemed the best, i liked the foam and the wide mouth, the $90 one with the small mouth just wouldn't cut it for me.
@@HawaiiDetailing I'm not a pro either. It's "good enuff" and the price is good for when it inevitably gets damaged due to dropping the bottle. I've had 2 $10 units in about the last 8 years now. Gets used a few times a month if that, I don't always use the pressure washer for quicker maintenance washes. I also changed the internal screen to a different flow rate for supposedly better foam results, although I am not sure if I notice any difference at all.
I hate to tell you all those bottle use the same quality virgin polymer. My question is how many of them if not all of them was made by 10 year olds in sweat shops in china. That being said great video liked seeing someone comparing them.
@@HawaiiDetailing NP I like your videos. Plus I have worked as a maintenance technician in the plastic/blowmolding industry for 30 years. Im the kind of person that grabs plastic bottles and feels them for quality issues...I know it is sad habbits of the job follow me into everyday life lol.
i see lots of vids on using the foam cannons but what about after the foam..what is the next steps? i see you have a tesla. could you make a vid on steps from foaming to finish...? sorry for the novice questions
What a great video. We appreciate you for what your doing. That MJJC Foam Cannon Pro Is A Beast! Also the $35 Bravex Foam Cannon Is Pretty Good As Well It Just Didn’t Perform well
the sound effects in the video are spot on 😂, glub glub glub glub glub glub.... glub glub glub glub glub glub .... and at 10:48 the MJC "as soon as I pulled the trigger PFFFZZZZTT"

$10 model hands down. Save the $80 for the soap and other products
Great video. I just reviewed the MJJC foam cannon and it worked great. It will bemygo to foam cannon!
Yeah. It’s a good one. Thanks
Hi good video mjjc pro first then mtm 22.2 then the $10 there are my best three 👍👍😀
I agree. Thanks
Next Griot's Boss and Brilliant Finish cannons. I have both and they put out great foam.
Thanks for sharing
I’ll stick with my 10$ bottle foams really good does what I need it to .
That all that counts.
The brilliant finish Griot’s foam cannon is awesome! Because of the thick foam it produces with the large mouth and the price point, I think it beats the MTM
Thanks. Hows those cams? Get them hooked up yet?
@@HawaiiDetailing I’m hooking up the first one today!
If swirl the plastic container on the MTM when emptying, any liquid will come out quicker as it’s not fighting the air coming in
Great review man... Thanks ... I was fed up with my Bowdens snow cannon bottle because the top narrow screw part always broke. Now just ordered the MJJC from Australia :-)
Thanks. I appreciate it.
A very good and enthusiastic video , will buy the one you recommend
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it
Congrats from Toluca, 🇲🇽.
Thanks a lot. Thanks for watching
Thought this was Tony hawk when I saw the thumbnail
i have to say, since i only wash my 2 vehicles, and i do not use foam that much unless i go a few weeks without washing, i would choose the $10 one, but if i had a detailing business i would choose the $75 one, to me it seemed the best, i liked the foam and the wide mouth, the $90 one with the small mouth just wouldn't cut it for me.
That’s my fav also. The MJJC.
I was looking at buying the mjjc... but now that 10 Dallar one looks good to me.
It’s just ok for the money. The MJJC is a real foam cannon and will last a long time with great results. It’s my favorite
The $35 one just needs the orifice changing to 1:1mm Orifice and it will be faom town once again 😊 and possibly change the filter for a foam type
I got a $17 Dusichin Fosm Cannon and changed out the orifice to a 1.1mm and it performs like its a $75 foam cannon.
I have the MJJC and love it !!
MJJC PRO for the win of late!! Loving it!!
It’s a good one for sure. It cranks out the foam. Thanks for watching
MJJC is easily the winner ......... but the griots garage gives it a very close race !
MJJC is the clear winner. Big mouth, steel pickup ball, stainless quick connect, cheaper than MTM, thickest foam of all.
I agree. Thanks
I was thinking the MTM but I'll be going with the MJJC when my $10 amazon stops working, LOL!!!
Nice review...these comparisons videos are great!
Thanks a lot.
would love to see you review the 2 Griot's models. They seem like the MJCC, and have features the MTM is missing.
My gripe with the $10 cannons is the small opening for pouring soap in. And the threads will eventually strip out.
Yeah. I am a you get what you pay for mind set. I would use the $10 one accordingly. Thanks for watching.
Just spent 35$ on the harbor freight cannon but after i’m done using and abusing it i’m gonna be eyeing that 75$ one u showed in the video
It’s a good one.
Well. Great video . I own the MJJC because easy to get in here. Greeting from Indonesia .
Thanks
1 minute it and i love this dude already, man!😂
Thanks.
For $10 the Amazon bottle is sweet, but overall the $75 bottle just out did all the other products by a long shot in my opinion.
I agree. Thanks for watching
I love my Mjjc v2.0 it is the perfect foam cannon
It’s a good one.
My $11.00 foam cannon works just as good as the more expensive ones.
I hate to tell you all those bottle use the same quality virgin polymer. My question is how many of them if not all of them was made by 10 year olds in sweat shops in china. That being said great video liked seeing someone comparing them.
I know what you mean. Nothing is made in the USA anymore. Thanks for watching
$75 seemed the Best value. But want to see Griot’s Garage product.
i see lots of vids on using the foam cannons but what about after the foam..what is the next steps? i see you have a tesla. could you make a vid on steps from foaming to finish...? sorry for the novice questions

@@HawaiiDetailing sweet! btw, love your vids! you are so happy! guess you live in paradise!
Again Dude,
You bust me up!😂😂😂
Great video.
David
Glad you enjoyed
What a great video. We appreciate you for what your doing. That MJJC Foam Cannon Pro Is A Beast! Also the $35 Bravex Foam Cannon Is Pretty Good As Well It Just Didn’t Perform well
Thanks for watching
50 seconds in to your video, and I already hit subscribe. Your voice is rad, man! hahaha. Funny cause I was looking at getting a new foam cannon
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Back in the day I started with the $10 special, but as soon as I got my hands on the MTM, and oh man do you get what you pay for!👍
You do. The 10 version is a great back up or wheel cleaner cannon. Thanks
I have both the MTM & MJJC canons, the MJJC produces thicker foam but the MTM definitley cleans my cars better !
"Im suffering a littl bit here" Dr. Pepper straight out my nose
I’d be curious to see if the orifice from the MJCC foam cannon makes a difference in the other foam cannons🤔
Do people not switch out the orifice to the 1.1? Literally makes a world of difference in any foam cannon
the sound effects in the video are spot on 😂, glub glub glub glub glub glub.... glub glub glub glub glub glub ....
and at 10:48 the MJC "as soon as I pulled the trigger PFFFZZZZTT"
Lol. Yeah man. Thanks for watching
