Just flew Delta One on a newly retrofitted 777 from ATL to LAX on June 5. It was wonderful!!!
Nice! I will fly delta one A330 in a month or so from AMS-ATL and than 1.3 month later also same from ATL-CDG.
Exited!
Hard to believe i started watching ur ar canada and emirates videos 7 years ago and now i still envy the trips and airlines you get to fly on :p keep up the excellent videos!
Nice report again. I am amazed by some comments about how bad Delta is. I find them to be ok. Then again I compare all long flights to my 1st long haul flight. LAX to Kadina AFB in Okinawa. Flying Tigers DC-8. Talk about no frills ….. this was back in 75.
nice review, thanks for posting this video
I like this video much, Delta has improved alot, the food looks great as well. Thanks for sharing this video! Cheers!!!
Very nice video. It makes me want to take a trip now!
Yayyy a new video !!!
I flew Delta One from LIM-ATL on the 767-400. I really liked the plane and the service was very nice... I'm impressed with the cheese offering you got. It's nice to see Delta trying on the fine touches...
That outro music always goes hard
ok, so just a lame question: We have an Amex Companion ticket and over 120k miles to use on Skandinavian Airlines (Star Alliance). Where would you travel too to get the absolute best flight ever using miles flying with a 1,5 year old kid from Norway during february next year? No budget limits on hotels or anything:) thanks:)
You got married. Congratulations!:)
Great video! But I have to ask, how are you always able to travel?
Austin Brague He works at Zurich Airport, so he gets places which are free very cheap!
Congrats, Loris! Any honeymoon flights you intend on sharing? :)
I rode in a 767-400 series LAS-ATL
Nice one big like and subscription
nice video
9th! (Great Video)
Great video. I will say Americans trans-con service is much better though. Better lounge's, better seats, and food on the trans-con routes. The one aspect that Delta does have over American is that they still use wide-body aircraft on the route.
to me the seat matters most. lie flat is the only way to fly coast to coast ;)
I’ve never flown delta 😢
is this amandeuce?
yes
only 37 Delta 767-400 or only 37 767-400’s that Boeing has made?
hahaha that food looks yucky!
I’m disappointed, from the thumbnail I was expecting a face reveal! 😕 But other than that! Great video! 😃😃😃

We all feel your pain
Delta will update its Boeings 767-400 this year.
No socks? 😱
Excellent video! it was so nice to 'see' your 'wifey' again ... until next time, cheers!~ :) :)
0:44 wtf. they can‘t be serious, why all that plastic?!
huyduciii I imagine to preserve freshness or cleanliness
Now, same route, renovated 767-400 catering sucks, only a box of junk food chips and cooking, not even a cold sandwich,no amenity kit, no welcome drink
JetBlue mint is better
So you got married in the meantime? :)
The cutlery isn't silver.
nice legs
While I liked the video, I have to disagree with you on Delta One across America. I think with all the new and updated competitors delta is the last choice. United and Americans new lounges are much better then the sky clubs. But the seat is what kills it for delta. They are old, tight, cramped, and dirty, and on a transcon flight sleep is most important. You can find almost all of deltas amenities on it competitors and all American Airlines have inconsistent FA's. this video almost felt like an ad for delta since you kind of brushed the big cons of the seat off like they were nothing when in fact they are the most important
Ha! Sorry this made me laugh, DLs lounges better then AAs admirals (though not Flagship), United almost always has old, extremely crammed seats (I mean 2-4-2, really?), AA and United don't have good service (usually), and UA AND AA both have bad food. Also, AA (IN BUSINESS) has a 2-2 in business on trans-continental. I mean, the new TECH of a seat is just one part of it, and the goods outweigh the bads. (Hey, also the Westin bedding is the best!)
Random I'm talking about all of the newest products. So when I talk about UA transcontinental I'm not talking abt the 2-4-2 but the new Polaris seating. AA's 2-2 is preferable over this because of its newer age and better sleeping comfort. I've been on delta one on the 767, and the sleeping comfort is atrocious! It's so tight on your body and your legs and it's almost impossible to side sleep! AA has Casper and UA has sacks, so all beddings are pretty much the same. The service is a bit lacking on UA's and AA's part, but I rather have a better sleep then a slightly above average crew. The JFK sky club is nice, but it gets very crowded, and having access to the Flagship dining for AA f class is outstanding, as that lounge is incredible. New UA and AA beat DL for me, and I haven't even brought up B6
@@lucasdiaz9966 I got to agree that AAs flagship lounge competes even at an international level. But, take my scenario. I usually fly out of JKF, but I can drive to EWR if I need to. United offers ONE new Polaris seat on the transcontinental routes, and it's in the morning, so there is no need for sleep. Then all of the other flights are used with the same seat as AAs buisness. Then with AA. I usually travel that for business, so I fly alone, meaning I have to sleep next to someone, which in my mind, is worse. Also, I hope you know that the dimension (of width) for AAs and UAs is 19ins, while D1 is 21 inches. Also, D1s beds are longer. As the foot well is slightly restraining, I have found that there is many ways to sleep that fix that. Overall, in my case anyway, I think that the pros of delta outweigh its cons.I just feel like I have more space with Delta, with the extra desk space, more private area, and as wide of seats at aas first, which in most cases is more expensive.
I hope you realize these are not the new Delta One suites that the 767 will be retrofitted with, the new ones they will put in are going to be the ones used on their other aircraft such as the A350,and those new seats are more than a step above what American and United can even offer.
Been a FF with Delta since 1989. Flew Delta One Intl on 767 and A300. Both need to be retired. Delta needs to buy newer safer planes not fix up 20+ year old planes or use old Northwest Airbus planes.
But, the 767 and a330 are both nice and very safe planes, because delta takes care of them and keeps them some of the most well maintained in the globe. I mean they're really safe, especially to newer planes in the news (cough 737max cough)
@@random3802 Recently a 767 from beijing to seattle was forced to land in alaska. sorry but their planes are too dam old.
@@tbd1613 Ok, but why did it have to land in Alaska. I had to make a landing on a 777, and to be honest, a lot of 777s are older then the 767-400er. Not all emergency landing are due to the plane, and even if so, all planes have had emergency landings.
Great review, but you didn't mention the slow wifi, responsiveness of the TVs when you touch them and cleanliness of the seat, I just watched a video of a popular plane youtuber complaining about the 767-400s dirty seats, slow wifi and bad tvs
I’ll stay with flying American Airlines First Class transcons. Flagship lounge, sit down restaurant. 1-1 seating. Lie flat seats, cozy bedding, great meals. Besides all this, I’ve achieved lifetime status with them. Thanks for your review though. Oh one more point ... American Airlines is a Unionized Airline 👍🏻
