For an airline that has constantly been on the brink of bankruptcy, I find they offer a very convincing product, better than LH for instance. I hope they somehow get out of this situation, since their problem is debt, not passenger numbers. Lovely video, and I'm happy to see your passport throw again!

A simple, and very helpful trick that all reviewers should use.

It was a visual treat. You've got the best shots - whether it's the terminal, sky or food. Every shot looked like a pro. Even the panning of 📷 from the outside view to the glass of drink. I would always count the time of takeoff manually. Thanks for your attention to such details. The picture was great. Did I miss the airside view?

Thank you for posting ie I live in nyc and airlines esp Alitalia were my passion as a kid living near jfk and going back to Italy in the summers ... been around the world but no longer fly due to anxiety(was in 9/12 etc) ie haven’t been to Italy in over 25 yrs and have been there 20x.. I have friends bring me amenity kits when they travel to remind me of what I’m missing .. perhaps one day I will fly again
I really wish I liked it, but pasta leaves me totally cold. Absolutely tastless and with the consistency of a pencil eraser, but without the flavour. Fabulous video, though!!!))) And I love Italians)))
A pleasant way to spend eight hours. On these BC and FC flights, I wonder how they get the slipper size right. I appreciated the full view of the menu as well as seeing the food you selected.
All airlines should offer such high quality meals for all transcontinental or transoceanic flights. We'd happily pay $50 more for such excellent food and drink, even if they have to skip the slippers, especially if there's seconds on that incredible pasta ! The fine meals and desserts and wines on a flight like that are what one will remember.

Long haul business class food at its best I reckon, Italian is the best rated food in Europe so I would expect that Alitalia has the best food for a European Airline and it seems so with beautiful crockery, glasses and service. And with Italian fashion you should also expect that the amenity kit and slippers or pyjamas are of the finest Milan fashion: Dolce & Gabbana, Attico, Giorgio Armani, Versace, and not forgetting Donatella, Marta Ferri, Missoni, Moschino, Prada, Marco Rambaldi, Marni, Lucio Vanotti, Gabriele Colangelo, Albino Teodoro..gosh the list is endless sweetie
Nice report. Beware, never take off shoes before departure. What are you going to do in the case of an emergency evacuation during take off? Run out the plane in socks or slippers? 😉

i paid $930 for the roundtrip MXP-FCO-JFK-MXP with the return in economy. idk if me posting the price I pay helps since prices change all the time depending on so many factors

I flew Alitalia to South America this year in business class. My FAV by far - the seat, the food, the wine. Just so nice.
I flew this class of service on Alitalia and indeed the experience was amazing and that is the best pasta in the air ever.

You have to take off shoes during evacuation on the slides, or you did in the old days.

You don't want to run through burning jet fuel without shoes on. An EXTREMELY unlikely scenario, but not an impossible one. Keep your shoes on!
