    I never had steak fried rice, but I will try this. My favorite is roast pork fried rice.

    Hi Ling. I've made this dish before and my girlfriend's family and they loved it. I steamed the diced steak for 10 minutes to warm it up so it won't taste cold or re-cook it. I used dark soy sauce which works better for me. As always, I never add salt. I'll be making Chinese home cooked meals on Monday and Christmas eve. Unreal how much the family loves it.     just made this for an easy sunday dinner,amazing and easy,ive wanted to make fried rice my whole life,now that i did this i can make shrimp,chicken or pork and even vegtable fried rice.thank you so much.can't believe how easy this was. better then take out. key here is really let the rice stay in fridge overnight

    I will try basil fried rice. My favorite used to be shrimp fried rice. I stopped eating meat so now I add peas to my fried rice. Yum!

    Never had steak fried rice, I usually have the pork fried rice. This dish looks delicious.

    I am in disbelief that so many people have never tried STEAK fried rice!
    My Okinawan aunt made her steak fried rice for EVERY family get-together and, even though she made HUGE pots of it,
    It was always ALL GONE IN AN HOUR OR LESS!
    SOOO INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!!
    Auntie Fumiko passed away several years ago,
    But she taught her granddaughters how she made it,
    And now they are taking up her mantle, THANK GOODNESS!
    Auntie Fumiko's steak fried rice has become a BELOVED and DELICIOUS tradition in our family!

    I made steak fried rice, but only added Oyster sauce, instead of the soy sauce, since I didn't have any. It was so delicious.

    Perfect im making this tonight. Im going to use different ingredients than what you did. And i have some thin sizzle/stir fry steak. I will use some shallots, brown onion and garlic along with some lup chong/chinese sausage and some frozen steam veggies. Also some little sachets of soy sauce and seasoning oil that came from some instant noodles. i may marinade my steak a little too. By the way new subscriber

      In a bowl I put sugar ,Olivia oil and vinegar

    Ami supposed to leave the rice out on the counter (covered) overnight or do I put it in fridge, maybe with a wet towel? My leftover rice is hard as a rock…

    To be honest: if you have a medium rare steak there. I'd add the steak with the scallions. Only to warm it up. Not to overcook it.
    Now, the steak came out of the fridge. But even if the steak had been room temperature: I would have tossed it in only with the scallions. Just my 2 cents. Still subscribed ;-)

    If you have the time and ingredients, could you please do and upload a Bol Renversé (Magic Bowl) with chicken and shrimp video please? Bol Renversé literally means upside down bowl, it is a Mauritian dish that is available in restaurants and hotels in Mauritius.

      @@ChineseHealthyCook Dear Ms Ling, both your version and the Magic Bowl (Le Bol Renversé) Mauritian version have common affinities.
      In the Mauritian version of Magic Bowl (Le Bol Renversé) first we put a fried egg in the bowl, then we add chicken and prawn chop suey, and a bed of white rice in the bowl.
      Then we flip the bowl on a plate and remove the bowl.
      You are such a great cook, I am 100% confident that you will cook it just like the classical way they serve in restaurants and hotels in Mauritius.

    Nice video.
    This corona virus got so bad that my family are scared to visit us due to it. Where they are they cant leave there areas or too scared to go out 😔
    Australia went into lockdown again since they opened the borders again plus people were rushing due to Christmas etc now there stuck and cant get back due to it. Medical centers will be closed for 2 weeks.
    Whats corona like where u are?
    Chrtismas here in Australia is tomorrow then mr tingles my late cat anniversary is in 4 days time..
    Im confident mr tingles gonna show up in 4 days since he passed away 4 years ago that day.
