I have an Artcore Ag75 and it can be a beast when plugged in to a 100 watt amp, I'm running mine through a Fender Frontman 212 R so I might have to try the clear packing tape trick.
I have a AG75 and I can tell you that it needed a serious fret job that they don't do in the factory. Now that they're polished and their edges are not sharp, it's a nice jazz guitar. I've noticed that the pickups are designed to sound better for jazz with round wounds and they sound weird, almost acoustic, with flatwounds.
@ 1:35 "I'm going to play a Led Zeppelin song, which THEY STOLE from one of those blues guys..." Drops mic from spread arms while looking at the sky and walks the h3ll off stage...
Eeemmmmm.... And if instead of tape in the F holes, he uses an acoustic amp? I've used acoustic amp with a jumbo guitar with distortion and there's no feedback at all... But I don't know if works the same way with a hollow body guitar. Any idea?
It's high volume that makes the feedback, not distortion. Hollowbody feedback is mechanical - certain notes cause the body to vibrate, which gets sent back to the amp by the pickups in an endless loop. Doesn't matter what kind of amp you use. What matters is how loud you play and how far away from the amp you are.
@@richieturner0825 this one is Ibanez ajf85 or afj95 they look similiar and varies in pickups only. 85 has ceramic magnet, while 95 has alnico Super58 pickup on it. That's not aj75. Afj's are top Ibanez serial unsignature hollow bodies.

Ted Nugget loves them..
That's hardly a "big huge jazz hollow body."
And while you're at it, switch over to clean tone and learn the chords in the major scale lol
got that pentatonic thing down-as does the rest of the known universe. leave the ugly pickguard off.
This music doesn't fit this guitar!!! (my opinion)!
In what way?
