I love ibanez hollowbodies.
When I was in High School, my first guitar fell apart on stage and because of that, my band director actually went out and bought an ibanez hollowbody from the music store down the street. I loved that guitar.
I have the Custom 125 AMBR with a completely wooden saddle and flatwounds. It's as good a jazz guitar as I've ever had the privilege to play. I do loops of bass lines on it often because the bottom strings sound just like an upright. Great for bossa tunes. Warm sounding. Ibanez makes great hollowbody guitars.
That had to be fun. Great jamming guys! ❤️🎸❤️
I feel hollow and semi hollow deserves the resurgence the T shape has been having. Maybe it hasn't been a resurgence at all and it's just a thing that's come with heading towards 40
Fantastic that this comes out right now. I'm trying to decide between an AG75 and the AMH90. Both Ibanez hollow bodies. Decisions decisions
Great jams! I've played a few Ibanez artcore guitars in music stores over the years and I've liked them a lot.
Glenfiddich 15 is huge upgrade over the 12, for relatively low cost upgrade.
Oh and you played guitars too. Nice
Dang man you have a really good voice!!!!!!!
The Artstar series is fantastic and punch way above their weight class. Not sure they make Artstar anymore, though, think only Artcore now.
Salut to your “dram” - I join you with a tumbler of Talisker - cheers
Great Jazz playing. Those do sound like fun.
I love Ibanez , they are great quality and affordable guitars. I don't have at the moment any semi hollow guitar but i know wich one i want , Ibanez AM93 . I have few acoustic guitars and the Ibanez AEG10II is my favourite . For so long i wanted a Gibson Les Paul Standard but i end
ended up with the Ibanez AR725 VLS , this is not only a much more beautiful guitar but also better sounding guitar also . There's not many Ibanez AR725 VSL arround but i always say if you see one, grab it and run
Hi Rob
I see you’ve lost 18,000 subscribers in about 6 months. For what it’s worth, you’ll never lose my sub ❤
Appreciate that dude
Hollowbodies get slept on since they're usually considered jazz guitars. I have a Gretsch Electromatic hollow and its great. The body is thinner than these Ibanez guitars. For comparison, the Gretsch is just a tiny bit thicker than a Gibson 335 body. These guitars sound nice but we need some overdrive!
Love the jam
Ibanez makes lots of great beautiful guitars !! and they have so many good hollowbody and semihollow in their catalogue! ! !
You should do a video with the owner of that store, it looks like a very cool place.
I will send this to him, he’s a great guy but really doesn’t like being on camera
They sound really nice. No wonder if they are played by two master guitarists. I'd like to hear them with some more pedals and Marshalls or Fenders or Katanas.
They sound fantastic in just about anyone's hands! I'm a bass player, but got a chance to play a hollowbody Ibanez (not too dissimilar to what Rob was playing in the video) through a Katana 50 mk2, and it sounded gorgeous!
I've got a simple Grote semi-hollow that works fine enough for me right now, but I may eventually upgrade to an Ibanez AS73 someday.
That's some great playing Rob! Can we get a link to that backing track?
I recognize that one, I've definitely jammed to it before... my guess is it's from Elevated Jam Tracks but I could be wrong... that guy makes a TON of great tracks though, so you can't go wrong with any of them lol
Bingo Sean 👊🏼 I don’t remember exactly which one it was but yeah you could just look up Elevated Jam Tracks and have a field day - his stuff is awesome 😁
It’s “Tense Rock Ballad in b Minor.”
I love my artcore 335 type thing I’ve pined for my 98 Sheraton for years I sold when skint think it’s more than filled the void think Ibanez make great guitars at every price point
Lovely clean tones I love them both 😂😂
Good luck, look forward to hearing your new creation (music, not Jurassic Park, though it couldn't be worse than the last movie!)
Why not plug into a Metal Zone and JCM800 for an accurate test?

Sniffed a bit Arboreal there. Loved that album.
Thanks man ❤
Why does everyone instantly play jazz on these guitars? Can’t we Nugent one out once in a while?
What is the backing track you play at 5 minutes
"I aint no hollow bod girl" - Gwen Stefani
Ha ha 😂
How do these stay in tune compared to a gretsch
I thought you hated big semi, and fully hollowbody guitars
This video gave me GAS for hollow bodies and Glen Fiddich.
@3:21 what song for riff is that? Me like
funny videos. I wish there wasn't any singing though. The cheaper ebony one seems to have some fret issues on the neck closest to the pickups. And over all sounds cheaper than the more expensive model.
I wish somebody would list which jazz guitars are FULLY hollow like a Casino… but Noooooo 1:21
Dude, this is like asking if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles like pizza
Weeeeeeeeepaaaaaa🎉
Jam over backing tracks 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ibanez guitars just sound so thin and twangy. I know a hollow body should sound better but ive played dozens of solid bodies ibanez and they all sound the same kind of awful. Ive had 4 ibanez basses that were fine, but ive just been conditioned by experience that anything with six strings and an Ibanez label sounds awful.

They sound terrible
