Is there a benefit of having a wet clutch?

Is the clutch shaft a little loose on the motor output shaft? Mine all seem to have wobble til i tighten the bolt. I bought 3/4 inch shaft wet clutches but they measure 20mm lol guess i should have checked them sooner
