i have the same exact set up i just can’t find the pull let that goes on the shaft can some one out there please point me in the right direction on we’re to buy it or what it’s called?
Have you seen the clutch disks disform? I picked up an old Honda G300 for 20 bucks, got the motor working and when I reassembled the wet clutch I had issues. It wasn't acting as a clutch and when I disassembled it one of the clutch plates went from straight to bowed out. I'm assuming the clutch material serrated from the metal but not exactly sure .....Thanks.
I am wondering the exact same thing as I just discovered one of the friction disks having one side grip and the other straight metal. Thinking the same as I didn't see my dual sided disk in this video.
Do you know the 'in put shaft' diameter it fits, and the 'out put' shaft diameter? Will engine case mounting holes match the Preditor 212 cc engine case?
I have a gx270 for a Gokart but I’m having trouble starting it. But when it does start it starts to shoot white smoke through the little tiny hole in the fuller cap, and it shows that it has oil. Any thoughts what it can be? Luckily I found this video.
Great video I have a gx270 and I took the governor out of it and when I put it all back together it seems that the clutch is always engaged because as soon as I start it the wheels spin even at idle? I disconnect the throttle cable and almost held the carburetor closed to see if it was an RPM issue and it doesn’t seem to be the case. Any questions or answers would be awesome thanks

Did you start it with the wheels off the ground? Because it's normal in that case.

Iam replacing the clutches in mine, should I soak them in oil prior to installing ?
Where did you get the clutches? Yes soak them in new oil for a few hours.

It should be about the same level as the shaft on the side.

10 W 30 Motor oil.
Is the clutch “bite” adjustable ??
There is not really any adjustment to these. Is your clutch slipping?
