Thanks for the post. Frank in every era is a gargantuan musician and this is no exception. And this band is no joke! Frank's body of work is incalculable and as hard as I try to get through it all, more just keeps surfacing, which is a very good thing indeed! My son took me to see Chick Corea in Detroit on August 12th. It was of course ridiculously amazing. They opened with Charged Particles -what a nice warm up tune! As Frank would say, "they were good to go"!
Frank's music from the 80s and 90s is at the same both the cheesiest 80s shit and the most amazing thing ever played by fantastic musicians. It's quite a thing to behold.
Haha yeah i fucking agree, of course now he plays serious jazz that we all enjoy, but we also all remember that there is two Frank : The one with no hair, and the one with the wig !

I recorded this straight from 3 sat on video many years ago . Old videos end up in a skip when video player finally croaks. Pity as this is Frank's superb best with a superb band. 2 hours I think not all is now available

wow wow wow! I like the "inbattable" rock funk groove, the half time at some places to make it breath a little, and of course drums-guitar duos have always been my favorite ;-) jfm the "inguitarissable"

Frank were amazing a usual, but leaving him alone during the solo cutted away half of his harmonic power and phrasing, imo :)
Damn, Frank! The least you could do is make some ugly faces to convince us your playing is (almost) as difficult for you as it would be for us human guitarists!
