The "hamas accepted the ceasefire" means that hamas said they will agree to Israel going out of gaza, allowing unchecked stream to the north including hamas terrorists, give 900 murder convicted prisoners, and in return, will not get a single living person but only bodies, and out of 132 hostages, will only get 32, during 6 monthes, in addition hamas said Israel will permanently not fire in to gaza, but hamas will be allowed to fire rockets into Israel, and execute terrorist attacks again civilians in Israel, which all will not be a violation of the agreement only hamas agree to and no one offered to them

Gaza has been a terror state since 2006 or 7. Ever since Hamas gained power.
Gaza was handed back and that is what it became.So Israel naturally would be hesitant to try that again
