- Blue Collar 2 is designed to be a very quick and relatively easy short term coating that you can simply mist or spray to apply. Its made up of polysilazane and offers some durability boosts to painted surfaces ( 5H ) , UV protection, as well as a significant boost to shine and gloss.
The best way to apply Blue Collar 2 is to spray into a damp microfiber towel and buff out paint in a 3x3 section, then follow up with a dry microfiber towel and wipe away all the excess coating till its completely invisible and move onto the next panel. Let cure minimum of 4 hr. Keep out of rain and free flowing water until cured. Top with Blue Collar 3 and enjoy!!

As much as I would like it to...my product shares the praise as we did a full decon and correction as shown early in the video to that section.

I used this on my vehicles last fall and been maintaining with Apex Rehydra sheet. Beads and sheet great and the winter crude washes off easily.
Did you get more than one vehicle done with a single bottle or is it kind of a bottle per vehicle sort of thing? (I realise it depends but say, an average sedan or SUV)

Getting ready to do paint correction and sealant on wifeys car, this might just fit the bill! I've been fairly happy with 303 Graphene sealant but it's a serious pain in the ass to buff off(at least it was in my case).
Looks to be an excellent product, i have a bottle that haven’t tried yet. But just remember that there was 3 layers on the test pannel. Would be curius to see if 1 layer would be as tough……
I recommend only one layer...anything more just rejects itself.
I know it's over kill but I applied bc1 let sit for 12 hours applied bc2 let that sit for 12 hours then applied bc3!! And the gloss and hydrophobics is insane!!

After waiting a couple of days in hopes of better detailing weather here in Central Florida, I finished applying BC 2 in partly cloudy skies yesterday to my 2021 Nissan Rogue. The coating went on great and made the red paint pop. I did apply BC 3 about 4 hours later and even my wife was surprised on how good the car looked Thank you Brian for these products as I haven't been this geeked out since Turtle Wax Seal & Shine. One question though, how long before I can wash the car?

The after correction gloss number, and after the application of the BC2 is the real number of added gloss units. It doesn't matter ( although it does ) this product looks like something I would be very likely to use. Ease of application and durability are a big plus.
Will you please do a direct comparison with BC2 vs Defy?
I really love ceramic coatings, I'm not thrilled with graphene. I know you don't use it, neither would I.
Could you use some of the primer polish like car pro essence, then use dc 2?

Hey Brian, on the test panel you did 3 applications, so did you essentially do 3 layers of BC2? If so how long did you wait to layer them? TIA.
Only one layer is recommended.. this video was for demonstration purposes. After the first layer the coating will reject itself and will be a complete waste.
Brian just curious as I’m not quite well enough to run a polisher yet. Would the better option for a decon and clay to use BC3 I assume prep is the key to this coating
You can wash, decon and use BC2. But I always recommend at least a cleaner polish like Angelwax Perfect Polish.
I have ceramic coating that is approximately four years old. What’s the procedure to go on top of that? Do I need to lightly polish off the old coating first?

Up to 6 months. When you are done using… re-cap it and store in cool, dry area. The cooler the better.

Two weeks straight with another week and a half to go with temps well over 100° is getting old. I've only got a one car garage and even though it's got AC there's no room for me to apply it... LOL

Brian. You mentioned you could walk away for 20 minutes and wipe off. Could you theoretically coat a small compact car entirely then start wiping off where you started?

You'll need to strip any waxes or sealants, before applying BC1 and BC2

Anything you apply in sunlight or on hot panels will not get the same result.. it will evaporate too fast with the heat before it has time to cure..
