- In this video, I share which towels are used for each situation here at Apex Detail. There are many microfiber towels too choose from today. Short nap towels great for leveling coatings. Soft pile are fantastic for paint correction. Surgery huck towels are great for window cleaning. Here are the situations I put them through.

What are YOUR favorite detailing towels?
I like The Rag Company's Gauntlet and Double Twistress for drying, Eagle Edgeless and Spectrum 420 for interior work, and some others from them whose names escape me.
Popó 350 and 500 gsm all time , for leveling coatings i use Sams club towels its 280 maybe 300 gsm and direct to trash can
Very similar to your system I believe. Lots of edgeless soft towels, pearl weaves, some shorter weave style and definitely huck towels (your recommendation) on the glass to really scrub it clean. The Clean Garage in Allentown has great examples of each under their own store brand.
Luxury Microfiber.
Autofiber Mr. Everything.
I use TRC Purple Pearl for coating leveling. You can get them in a pack of 10. They could be the same towel as the one you're using here.
I have them they are great
When removing the transfer solution on bc1, do you have to throw the towel away? I’ve heard mixed things about towels and ceramic coatings
The owner of that BMW must’ve been thrilled. The gloss on that car is insane
Are you washing your towels after coatings or toppers and reusing or downgrading them for other uses?
Harbor Freight just came out with a new big drying towel and a 12 pack of 16 inchers edgeless and tagless for 6.99 either choice, and im tellin ya theyre actually good!
Does anyone know how long bc2 should last in the bottle once it is opened
OMG that LC.....hardly any orange peel in that paint, that good and bad....what a paint job Brian!
Question ,What's the shop managers favorite towel ? 😊
I like Detail Popo towels from Carzilla. Excellent quality at a great price. I use the edgeless 320gsm, 350gsm and 500gsm for exterior purposes and their heavy rain drying towels.
Their carbon blanket glass towel is by far the best class towel I’ve tried.
For interior I use my old exterior towels and the Kirkland microfibers.
I never tried DIY detail towels but I just might. I use mostly towel from The Rag Company and I do like them. They last a long time and even after 30 washes feel like a better quality than most out there
I have so many towels lots of Rag Co., Autofiber , Kirkland for any and all just to name a few. Now I’m gonna have to get the DIY towels 😂 thanks Brian.
Hey Brian, when doing a weekly maintenance wash, do you prefer wash mitts/pads over microfiber towels?
The diy towel looks like tag company creature towels may be
Thanks for this info Brian. I've been looking for a different towel because I'm tired of putting up with my current towels (from a big-name company) that always lint when I'm working with a coating or sealant.
Microfiber is a very good thing 👌
Microfiber Madness!!
I'm using their Delimitt and Delipad. Have 4 of them.
How about wash mitts?
Microfiber Madness
Thanks, Brian! As always, anything you share from your experience is always valuable and much appreciated!
I need some better towels I gotta step up my game
Clean garage’s towels work well for me
Lol is thstcpearl towel from rag company I think it's even same color
They're purple but I had the same thought
Thanks Brian!!
FYI...For most applications, the Kirkland towels are fine for most jobs. For special situations, I use Higher nap on one side, low nap on other side, Brand? I have gotten so many when ordering chemicals. The main thing when it comes to MF towels, they are dedicated or specific to the job, glass only, inside only. tire/engine only, or general use. Before I wash my mf towels, I soak in oxyclean & laundry soap overnight, then wash in cold water with laundry soap & white vinegar.
I generally use Kirkland towels for the cutting stage & rag company 350 gsm & 500.
I also picked up a pack of those yellow CG's towels a while back at Ollie's, unfortunately there was only one pack left.😢
Morgan microfiber towels from Bunnings, mate
We use Kirklands but they get funky quickly.. thanks for the recommendation. It’s a basic item that makes a big difference. Thanks! 🤗
ps: I love Ollie’s!
Thanks for this video. Now i have a more understanding of which to choose for each stage. Btw, how many towels do you use for each stage?
Always great to see what you're using. Thanks Brian! 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
I like the Rag companies towels, the eagle edgeless, and the creature edgeless. I also like Costco’s towels, just tear the tags off!
Awesome choices 4 protection..looks fantastic brother
Great informative video, Brian! Thanks 🙂
Imo huck towels are the best for windows hands down
I love the sprayer you offer on your BC-3 , The mist is ultra fine , and the cross bolt safety button is positive and tight 👍
Another amazing video/content good friend
Thank you Brian. Helpful.
Rag Company and Kirklands!
Rag company puts out good stuff
The Rag Company, Autofiber, Microfiber Madness, PFM Griot's Garage, and Kirkland's
Nice
I’ve been using the Costco towel for coatings haven’t had a problem with those.
First!!!!!
