Restore And Protect The Plastic Trim On Your Vehicle!! This Is How!!!

  • In this video, I show how to restore faded plastic trim on your car, truck, or motorcycle. The reason your plastic trim pieces are more susceptible to this damage is they do not have a layer of UV inhibiting clear coat as your paint, wheels, and headlights do. This means that every plastic piece will inevitably fade, crack, and dry out unless protected.
Vonixx V-Plastic PRO Ceramic Coating | 50ml Interior and Exterior Trim Coating
V-PLASTIC is a semi-permanent coating, developed exclusively for the treatment of plastic surfaces to renew and restore plastics for up to 3 years on exterior plastics and up to 5 years on interior plastics.
It promotes UV resistance, protection, water and dirt repellency. It can also be used on new plastics to avoid material degradation and extend its life up to three times.
You can apply V-PLASTIC on bumpers, trims, dashboards, door panels, vinyl wraps and more. Applicator included in the package
    Vonixx V-Plastic PRO.......www.amazon.com...
    HOW TO USE:
    - Clean the plastic surface thoroughly.
    - Decontaminate the plastic using a surface prep (IPA) and a microfiber towel to remove any unwanted residue or excess of other products.
    - Apply the product evenly with the foam applicator pad (included in the package) over the entire surface.
    - For less shine, remove the excess with a clean and dry microfiber towel.
    - If necessary, apply a second coat after 3 hours of the first application.
NOTE: The partial curing of the product is 6 hours. Do not wet or wash the vehicle during that period. The total curing time is 72 hours.

Plastic trim is always a pain. I’ve had pretty good results with Cerakote over the years but keep an open mind. Especially on the cleaning stage.

Hey Brian, thank you so much for the review! I think I’m going to be using this product for my plastic on my new mustang. Going to give it some time and a few washes to expel any gasses/etc first, since it’s brand new. One tip for you though! I noticed getting the product out of the dropper bottle was not the greatest. One thing you can try that works well I believe is to put the tip on the pad and drag it across. This kind of grabs the liquid and gives it a place to go and allows it to exit the bottle better. Try it out!

Hi Brian,I know you test and rate all products fairly, how do you think this compares to your Blue Collar products. I’ve purchased Blue Collar 1,2 and three I’m just waiting for the weather to get a little cooler before I start my detail. I would rather not buy more product if yours will work just as well. Thanks for all you do for us DIY detainers.
