His shifts were fine , you don't need to max out RPM's , if you know where the cars making the most power then you shift in the perfect power band . Once you hit a certain RPM the car will start to lose power and it's no point . Plus, shifting early can be helpful, cause next gear gets it in to lower revs and you have some turbo lag it can help with traction because the full power doesn't snap on right away and power comes on slower more controlled .

Like I said, even in a bone stock unmodified car, if redline on the tach shows for example 7000 rpm it doesn't mean that's the optimal range or spot to shift. Most cars the maximum power is before the actual "red" line on the tach. You can pull a car to redline and make it scream all you want and if the tach does show 7000 redline in most cases you are losing power there and most highest power from the engine is made or reached by 6600-6700 rpm . If he is tuned to make mac power at 7000 on his set up then like I said , shifting early can aid with traction big time . That and having a laggy turbo also helps with traction. I had a 500 HP FWD boosted car with a very laggy turbo, full boost of 15 psi came on at 5500 RPM , it was a very laggy turbo BUT, that lag helped me big time with traction as the power came on slower and more gradual but when 5500 RPM hit the power was like an on and off switch almost , it bit hard but by then the car has picked up speed where less wheel spin would happen. Then as soon as the wheels broke loose I'd short shift to next gear after spinning tires for. Couple seconds till i hit right spot and where I knew if i upshifted it won't bog down too low of an RPM in next gear and the turbo will be just in right spot to be not too laggy but laggy enough to where it acted as a traction control aid sort of by gradual power increase like i mentioned. So that could be a reason why the short shift , but this car makes enough power where you don't need to fully max out your rpm range to keep the car going in next gear. Plus he wasn't at a drag track or even racing seriously so he didn't have to fully beat the shit out of his car/engine. Hope all that made sense and didn't confuse you to much lol. I know I said a lot 😁

I don’t think this is 600hp on the 600hp map. Maybe low 500s. I feel like it’s moving so slow on the top end like it looses power once you get into 4th.
Everything looks slower on video bro until in the passenger seat. I just like the 370Z looks like a small car in person but on camera it looks huge in my opinion

The man paid over 10k worth of stuff for his 370z...some will say he wasted his money...i disagree because the amount of fun and enjoyment is truly priceless, On another note, how's the car handling all that boost, do you get overheat when you floor it? i have recently bought a used 370z for cheap and thinking of going this route with AAM turbo kit and i worry i will have the same issue with my mustang when i installed the Roush VMP supercharger stage 2 kit, if i floor it i will see my engine temp rise to near red, i have bought Ford racing radiator thinking it will fix the issue and it made it even worse than stock.

@@christopher4692 you can make up to 800whp on factory internals. But it won't last on the street if you're doing pulls all the time. This car has factory internals. It lasted about 2-3 weeks and was beat on very hard.
And the reason I’m putting my Dyno sheet this is to show you can get a lot more horsepower even with a proCharger shut up, but I’m not using a ProCharger you did maybe that’s the difference. Thank you for helping me build . But I do respect you.

I'd love to run a clutch like yours, but my budget will limit me to a ZSpeed SS Stage 3 Clutch package, not cheap but not in your league. Enjoy your ride!
No and u can get more out of a stock vq37 but it won't last if you're racing regularly. The most I've seen one thays raced a lot take is 650-680whp and that one only blew in the burnout box at the track. I would say 600 all day it can handle

Yea it had a fuel starvation issue and the owner kept pushing it the night racing the M5 and the next day it threw a rod. Ironically the M5 also blew up lmao. But I think this was a issue just with fuels setup more than anything else. And of course back to back repetitive pulls without enough cooldown in between to almost 170+mph each time
Peaced out after 2 weeks. Mainly because the 2nd last night he took it out racing and did like 15 pulls back to back. High oil temp high speed like 170+ mph pulls which on stock bearings they weren't getting proper lube. So then the flowing day on a 600whp pull it threw a rod. I would generally recommend keeping it around 650whp max

The regular md system is 3 inch after the mid pipe. That's the one Dekker the y pipe and used a md mid muffler delete pipe

Did the engine already blew up?
Yea it had a fuel starvation issue and the owner kept pushing it the night racing the M5 and the next day it threw a rod. Ironically the M5 also blew up lmao. But I think this was a issue just with fuels setup more than anything else. And of course back to back repetitive pulls without enough cooldown in between to almost 170+mph each time

Peaced out after 2 weeks. Mainly because the 2nd last night he took it out racing and did like 15 pulls back to back. High oil temp high speed like 170+ mph pulls which on stock bearings they weren't getting proper lube. So then the flowing day on a 600whp pull it threw a rod. I would generally recommend keeping it around 650whp max
