- PART TWO of this series of my buddies getting their two stock block 370z to 700WHP. The Twin Turbo Z is the first to be finished and is running great. The Single Turbo white one with Blue Te37's will be on the dyno and on road in Part 3 of this series, stay tuned. I did however sneak in some teaser clips at the beginning of this video for you guys.

They don't have the same engine even if the 370Z did come twin turbo. The 370 isn't a good looking car to some. I don't think they look good at all. I would much rather have a GTR. Especially since it has a dual clutch. And it has a backseat. And it's all wheel drive. It's just a much better car.

There is a guy named Benjamin on SOHO motorsports website. I just came from his youtube channel. They built him a 900whp 370z. It's insane. I wish I was rich.
yes but that's with the motor being built as well. These Zs are running on stock blocks. It's crazy how much the 3.7s can handle stock.
Still waiting to see him drive it hard. I hope he does.

Yeah, makes you wonder the validity of these vids...and what is the life of the motor before it blows....they never tell you the real deal. Only chasing likes....no cost associated with the mods and no mod list in detail to speak of. We know these folks not being honest at all. Does anyone really believe a 350hp car jumps up to 800hp to the crank due to a turbo kit and a tune on a stock block with some race/pump gas. I guess the clutch is stock as well too all the way down to the suspension and brakes and everything else. They need to stop it........

Look up our buddy dct_steve89_hun on IG stock block 370z with a turbo kit doing 6.3 60-130. No shit the clutch is upgraded that's a given stock clutch can't hold this power.
Somebody hasn't heard of the 2JZ. If you do 5 minutes of searching through forums for 370s you'll see that plenty of people are running mid 600s on stock internals without issue. Some engines are just really well-built out of the factory. Hell some honda K20As hit 750 on stock internals.
Noone ever shows the Mod Lust or the Dyno Sheets. I have mine to prove what my z makes. Why don't they. I am over 600 engine but nowhere near 700 wheel on a stock block.

I always knew the VQ could make some power on a stock block. So happy to see those numbers. So maybe I can just throw money at the 7AT to hold the boost from the Turbo. I would be more than happy with that power. Who is your tuner ? ??

So, the twin turbo kit and single turbo kit are making very similar power. How does the actual driving feel like? does twin turbo kicks harder? less lag?
So since the tt car has older turbos, turbo tech has excelled exponentially so the new age single in the white car hits just as hard as the old twins. New age twins would like get into power band earlier. The cars are very similar in terms of power band. I would go single though. Way easier to install and maintain less issues and less chance of leaks and stuff
nitish21 thank you for the explanation. I actually planning to turbo my g37 coupe for next year. I agree with single turbo is more serviceable, might going for the soho single turbo kit.
@@ddk1422 yea I'd recommend the @boostedperformanceyeg kit you can look them up on IG. If you like the eye candy of the turbo in the engine bay then yea Soho is good. Personally I like the equal length piping of the BP kit it keeps the vq tone

Vp race gas concentrate/octane booster on 93 premium is a good option, especially like me e85 gas station is 2 hours away from where I live..vp is available just about any auto parts stores..good alternative to get over 100 octane..
What car platforms other than the VQ that are around the price of a z that can make 800whp and do it cheaper than a VQ. From what I can see they are pretty expensive to mod and don't quite offer a good price to performance when it comes to modding.
Yes but the surprise factor and wow factor is huge. A lot of cars can make 800whp once you build the motor and boost. Almost none can do it on stock block unless its really strung out closest you might get is a unreliable ass 335i. Maybe a 5.0 mustang on boost. I think the vq is still the best bet for actually being fast.
Lol a lot of cars? Any n54 car yes you need to do a lot of maintaining. B58 is amazing. 800 wheel cap able block. 5.0 can hold up to 1000 for a while with oil pump gears.

im so confused, is this an actual entire stock motor? or just the bottom end? basically say yes if you just added turbos to the mix.
The motor I completely stock as side form fuel rails and injectors

@@nitish21 thats some good power, btw I know you running CD009 trans, but if I opted to stay with the 7speed automatic what would they be good for in terms of bhp/torque numbers, I can always get the auto box built later but just for now I would want to keep it stock to see the capabilities of it, any ideas?

@@TheCinderellaman10 the autos aren't the greatest but they can be done. I've heard of guys building them but they still don't last. A manual is still your best option

Heads up the motor on that one didn't last due to fuel starvation issue. Just make sure your fueling setup is good and you should be okay. I'd also aim to keep the torque a little under 600wtq but that car was epic. Luckily stock blocks are not expensive so throwing another motor in its easy. He's debating building or just tossing in another motor
@@nitish21 i already got id 1050x, 450, cjm fuel return on the way. i'm hoping to run 13 psi 600whp 500wtq. he should build if he is going to run that power long term i think. I might push higher just want it to hold up.
@@Trainwreckz34 we currently have another g37 on stock block made 728 whp 550wtq and its running good so far. Going for retune again. Let's see how long that one lasts. Way more robust fueling setup in that one with a second pump on the drivers side.
@@nitish21 yeah i wonder how long it will hold up that's a ton of power, definitely want a good fueling setup i'll keep that in mind if i decide to go for more. I'm hoping the cjm fuel return does well for now.

I like tomei when it has stock cats but Motordyne with art pipes is the best sound. When you put test pipes on a tomei it's way too loud and raspy but that's just my opinion
