Jin is called the king of Japanese songs!!!
@@filmbuff000 By the whole fandom actually.
Jin singing Crystal Snow is a master class. His triple high note is famous for a reason. And he truly shines in their Japanese songs💜
The three tenors(Jin,Jimin, Jungkook) singing that high is understandable.. but.. BUT.. V.. the baritone V.. matching them to perfection.. is beyond me ! 💜🤷🏻♀️
Many baritones can do it, and that V is also admirable
@@zzz8985
In Kpop V/Taehyung’s voice is unique since Kpop tends to favor tenors. He is a lyrical baritone.
For a Baritone in KPOP, V has the widest vocal range (as per real vocal analysts) of Eb2 ~ D6 (3 octaves, 5 notes and 1 semitone), which means he has potential of hitting high octaves with ease that could match the tenors in the group.
Jungkook composed this song
@@MaeMae888 I meant "No many" I'm not an English speaker, sorry
I love Jin' and Jimin's vocals
Jin and v fluently speaks japanese reason why they love watching mangga films jin also soeaks chinese...
Jin is insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Jimin killed it ❤❤❤
Thank you for your reaction. Jungkook composed and wrote this song. He previously mentioned that he actually made the melody originally for his mixtape, but since it came out so good, it was added to BTS Japanese album 'Map Of The Soul: 7 - The Journey' instead and it became the OST for a Japanese movie "Your Eyes Tell". These guys are amazing! ❤
7:35 Well, actually they kinda *can* "sing" in sign language. 😂 They incorporated sign language into the choreography for Permission To Dance and V has used sign language during speeches before as well. 💜
I didn't know V knew sign language as much as he does. ❤ I just watched a video yesterday.
@@RachelinAK I also didn't know about that until someone pointed out that V has been doing sign languages before. I saw like a compilation of him doing it and I didn't even realize it was sign language until recently
@thatpersonyoudidntknowexis149 that's pretty cool tho. Wonder why he learned. It's cool he fud! My daughter is taking ASD 2 and my son is taking ASD 1 in this coming year.
yep, lol. i was thinking this as they said that, lmao.
If you can watch CRYSTAL SNOW that is one song where you will be more amazed with the vocals.
No wonder why the rapline always says they are very proud of their 4 vocals.
Learning their roots makes me understand more and be proud that I stan these 7 amazing boys
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
My fav Japanese song from them, such masterful vocal prowess
Ufff those vocals are fire. Jimin’s voice is unique
Funny you said “they could probably sing in sign language”! They did that in Permission to Dance.
Japanese songs are where you see Jin shine even more brightly. Something about it brings out the crystal clear facet of Jin’s voice. This song was written by JK for the Japanese movie.
This beautiful song was written by Jungkook. I love the Japanese songs. Thanks for your reaction!💜💜💜
Jin is amazing
Yeah me too I love V’s voice
Please Film out next
Not sure why you’re so surprised when Jin sings those high notes flawlessly after V. V is a baritone and Jin is a skillful tenor. Jin’s high range is actually crazy!
Yes, Taehyung is a baritone, but he can sing anything and he will kill the song too. He has the widest vocal range in BTS and Korea, and he can reach high and low notes easily.. Jin is so amazing, special, and talented.
@@0.0TK They should be amazed by V’s ability to reach those high notes using his beautiful falsetto, while Jin is widely known of his crazy belting ability 💜
@@iwannabealobster9459I think they may not have seen a lot of songs that full showcase his vocals like his solos yet. So that may explain it.
@@Life_With_Liz24 but in the astronaut song, Jin's low tone is quite visible
Yeah people fail to realize or it is underrated that Jin has a large vocal range just like Tae.
And there we are, the baritone is able to match the high notes of the tenors and not a sign of any strain in his facial expression while doing it. That’s what amazes me about Tae’s unique and soulful vocals. Loved RM’s rap as well. FYI, Japan is known as TaeTae land as Taehyung is the most popular idol in Japan. Both V and Jin get more lines in Japanese songs and personally for me the Japanese songs are something special. Also Tae is fluent in Japanese and has been using sign language for several years now and recently the group used sign language in permission to dance.
Jungkook wrote this song for a Japanese film. They’re all proficient in Japanese and have released several Japanese albums too. Their Japanese songs are so beautiful to listen to. ✌️💜
V Taehyung is so charming he has a very distinctive voice that makes you fall in love with him His voice is mesmerizing & his voice is tough for others to copy.
I think BTS handoffs are just flawless
They're all amazing, but Jin steals the show here. 👏 💜
It's soundtrack for a Japanese film the female lead is blind in it
Jungkook wrote this masterpiece 💜
Kim Taehyung is the gold voice
That’s why I can’t have a bias or favourite
They all sound so unique and different
Each of them hits different and they are so talented 🥺🫶
Tae y Jin me vuelan la cabeza con sus voces y su interpretación...💜
Most Korean artist release Japanese versions of theirs songs / albums and they do concerts in Japan. Jin really does well in their lyrics. Jimin is also so amazing in Japanese. They can all speak Japanese.
A small fun Facts is that in their Permission to dance MV they actually do sign language as part og their dance choreography and V knows some sign language :) I really love your reaction :)
With every song or video we fall even more in love with our BTS boys. They are our precious hearts. Thank you for your heartfelt reactions.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Lets not forget that Jin learned to sing after being signed by BigHit.
Exactly the same like all other vocalists in BTS.
@@bee12117 Jungkook sang some before being signed but yes you're right.
@@jtd5849 He sang where? What's the school name? What's his vocal teachers name? Do you have an info about Jungkook taking any kind of vocal training before jumping on Superstar K 2 minute long audition?
yep but so did JK i just learned while reading the book. RM, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V all of them too.
But Jk and V got vocal lessens ..Jimin and Jin didn't
Jin is absolutely AMAZING, please never sleep on JIN!! Especially in Japanese, Jin's voice soars!!!!!
BTS' japanese songs evoke deep emotions. this song is so beautiful!! 💜
Japan is one of the largest consumers of Kpop (back then, I don't know if it's still true today or another country has become the larger consumer) so having albums remade in Japanese is a plus!
I read an article apparently Japan is still far ahead but the United States is second to China
Jin astronaut live
Jin’s voice is suitable for Japanese songs even his pronunciation like Let Go and Magic shop
crystal snow is my favourite Japanese song of bts
jin's vocals in that song is ethical
you would really love that song
if you get time please listen to that song
It's one of my all-time favorite BTS songs! Extremely difficult to sing live, poignant lyrics, and a masterful blend of their voices! I love this song 🎵 🥹🫰💜
Same, am love V voice, then jimin and jk is angelic. Jin high notes is surprised me 😮
3:34 but it's much much easier for us to sing in another language and make it sound right with pronunciation than to speak it. + you only need to memorise certain lines. However they can speak Japanese.
But you also hear them sing very well in english even though many of them have very limited english vocabularies and a strong accent when speaking english.
La voz de jimin es unica angelical
When Jung Kook made this song, he was going to put in his mix tape but later the company suggested to use it to the Japanese movie theme music. So the lyric is relate to the movie story.
I've been a RUclips subscriber for quite a bit Jungkook has writing credit for this song and had planned to use it on a mix tape for himself but it was so good they decided to put it in an album. The Japanese were remaking an older Korean movie of the same name when JK's song was submitted at the last minute, The director loved it so much it was used in the movie. This made history as the first OST by a foreigner for a Japanese film. Fun antecdote -- BTS was doing an interview for their song "Stay Gold" and V said he was sorry for "Stay Gold" but "Your Eyes Tell" was still his favorite as their maknae wrote it.
I so love his answer. "Is it common for Korean to speak in Japanese? And he just said "They're BTS" period. Nothing else, just they're BTS and it answers all reason. 💜💜💜
“They can probably sing good in sign language “. Hehehe. That was cute💜
=)
They actually did in Permission to Dance! Tae has been using sign language since way back when
Korea and Japan have had a troubled history. Japan invaded and occupied Korea from 1910-1945.. BUT Japan is the second largest music market in the world after the US so…. The guys may have learnt Japanese as a second language in school, not sure… but they all speak it well enough to do Japanese interviews and variety shows… and perform amazingly 💜 in particular Jin’s voice and delivery is very well suited to the Japanese audience and he is extremely well received there.💜
I knew when I saw this video this would be the type of reaction. It’s just an amazing song with incredible vocals. Thank you for appreciating it.
One of my favourite BTS performances!
there hands off are always so smooth.
Jimin vocals there is no one like him💜💜💜💜🇵🇰
Jungkook wrote this and was supposed to be in his own album but they sang it together as an OST for a japanese film :)
You can't do Your Eyes Tell without doing Film Out!! Also Stay Gold, and Crystal Snow and.. all BTS Japanese ballads are all so amazing and beautiful and vocals for daaayys!!
They have also beautiful Korean ballads (truth untold, Blue and Grey, For Youth..) that are actually some of my favorite BTS songs ever!
But there really is something different they are channeling in Japanese!
They all have a pretty decent Japanese, most of them I'd even say speak better Japanese than English (especially Hobi and Jimin)... To put it very simply Japan colonized Korea so there are very strong cultural and linguistic ties, and many Korean singers do promote to Japan and release Japanese songs because it's the 2nd biggest music market in the world after the US
Thank you for this!
I love V voice too and Jk 🥹❤
Jin jin jin 💜
The Japanese originals that BTS have put out are on another level of beautiful!
Please react to..
Lights
Crystal Snow
Let Go
They'll really get you in the feels!
Another beautiful Japanese song, Stay Gold and the MV is amazing.
Yo le agrego también For You es otra japonesa qué es hermosa.
Jimin un this song is amaizing and BTS thenks
Don't Leave Me is my probably my favorite Japanese BTS song, it's a crime that they've never performed it live before aside from a small snippet.
They have released Japanese albums from early on. Japan is the largest music market in that region and many kids are taught Japanese in school. Somehow Jin seems to shine in Japanese songs. He has sung at least one song on an original soundtrack for a Japanese movie.
Hi my sweet dears. 68yo Army here. Its way too early in the day to start crying...but, oh well. Thank you guys for the great BTS content. Hurry back, dears.💜
YOUR EYES TELL IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE JAPANESE SONGS ITS AMAZING AND THERE IS A LOT. GOOSEBUMP AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Solo diré
Jin llamado el Rey de las canciones Japonesas.
Jin llamado Silver Voice
Jin llamado El Rey del Belting...
Todo por obvias razones.
Me encanta esta canción, y todas las vocales de BTS son increíbles.
Pero Jin me despedaza con su voz y sentimiento al interpretar.
V perfect and Jk wow 💜💜💜💅
V voice always 💖💖
V's voice is everything I swear 🔥💜he touches souls
Jin and Jhope are fluent, RM is semi fluent in Japanese. From my understanding, Jhope, RM and Jin are fluent in various languages.
Não, J-Hope não é fluente em Japonês. Os membros que são fluentes em Japonês são o V e o Jin, o Jin além de ser fluente em Japonês, também é fluente em Inglês .
Crystal Snow live next pls…. Also a Japanese song and you’ll see they’re amazing no matter what language they sing in!
Also this song was written and composed by Jungkook, it’s an OST for a Japanese movie by the same name.
I really love when V is going to sing a high note .. his voice can go deep and high 💜
Guys react to "MAGIC SHOP" live in Japan next please. This song also show case their voice alot especially the vocalist.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
They're all fluent in Japanese (especially V). I'm pretty sure it was said in the guide but its been a while since you watched it so I don't blame you for forgetting it was a lot of information😂😅. Tho RM is the only one fluent in English of course (tho these days they all speak English fairly well and are getting better and better🙄)
Edit: also what really impressed me with them is how they all have such wide ranges (again V especially😂). Like you'd be surprised how high notes they can all hit (just wait til you hear songs like epiphany from jin, euphoria from JK, stigma from V, and Jimin's effortless high notes in countless bts songs lol)
You probably don't know this yet but BTS did "sing" in ASL sign language while they were singing Permission to Dance in the official music video. That is also the video that Jimin is wearing the outfit that Ken wears in the new Barbie movie. When you watch it be sure to focus on their hands, you'll see it. Borahae. (opps sorry I didn't see that others have already told you this.)💜
Yeah, this is my absolute favorite BTS song. It is absolutely incredible; glad you enjoyed it!
Jungkook's voice is absolutely incredible! The vocal line shines in this song! It's so beautiful 🥰💜
Jin brilha nas músicas Japonesas
Goosebumps time 💜 beautiful... Thanks guys 👏🔥💜💟♾️✌️
It's not like all Koreans can speak Japanese or learn the language in school but it's common for the idols to learn other languages like English and Japanese to communicate with their fans
For the very older generation of Koreans such as my mother who is 93 years old and was born and raised during the Japanese occupation of Korea grew up learning both Japanese and Korean. There is a love hate relationship between Korea and Japan because of their history where Korea was for centuries bullied by both Japan and China. Korea is a small country where there are hardly any natural resources to enrich themselves. It was only a few decades ago that Korea pulled themselves out of the third world status to being # 11 as industrialized nation. In the business sector it is important to not only know English but Japanese as well. For K-pop it’s very important to know some Japanese as Japan is second largest buyers of K-pop goods and supporters of K-pop music and artists. This is more truer for BTS as Japanese LOVE them.
Japan is traditionally the 2nd largest kpop market, after Korea...To be successful in kpop and have staying power, groups have to appeal to Japan as well, not just local Koreans
So it's very common for kpop artists to release albums with Japanese-language versions of their hit songs, and also include an original Japanese-only song....BTS has released at least four Japanese-version albums that I know off the top of my head, and some very excellent Japanese-only singles
"Lights", "Crystal Snow", "Stay Gold" are some of the most popular, plus another song ("Don't Leave Me") that was made for a Japanese tv series (Signal, which is a remake of the excellent Korean tv series of the same name)
Vocal MASTERPIECE 💜💜
each time i listen to this song i feel like i get lifted to heaven
Jin voice 🤩🤩
kim seokjin the king of high notes please
I say this with every BTS song, but still. One of my absolute favourites. Thank you for sharing!
Yeas beautiful beautiful song and vocals. Like Stay Gold too. 💜
I always cried when I listen to this song esp this performance..they were so good😢
Thats why i became an ARMY because they are defferent
HAHAHA they did sign language in their PERMISSION TO DANCE mv!!!! Love all of your reactions to their music and mvs!
Thank you for that real genuine reaction. I love to watch your faces - especially Bulldog - when he’s falling into the song. This is why I watch reactors: to see them experience the emotion that I feel every time this song plays. Love your Rise of BTS doc videos too. Great 🎉job!
Thank you 😊
I'm in love with their japanease Songs OMG they're just sooo precious to me 😭😭💜💜💜
Historically Korea was brutally invaded by Japan. There are citizens with Japanese roots. As far as I know only Jimin and RM are completely fluent in Japanese.
BTS Japanese ballads seem to have a direct line to your heart and hit you with a thump. They are beautiful, haunting and so emotive. As close to perfection as you can get in my humble opinion.
I agreed with pretty much all the comments made here. I stopped in between when you all paused to say that I’m a 3rd generation Japanese Cndian that knows the history between Japan and Korea. I even have relatives who are either 1st or 2nd generation South Korean. I’m older and ARMY and can say that regularly it is not common for Korean or Japanese to learn the languages unless for work. I’m trying to learn Korean. Now, after the deep political history,Japanese nd Koreans here in Canada seem to get along. Because of the high industry in Japan, it makes sense for BTS to learn Japanese and I’m quite impressed! Well, they are BTS! They try to even learn some sentences from other countries when touring. I loved than they incorporated ASL too in one of their more pop feel good songs PTD! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦🫰🏻
This song is also and OST in a very famous Japanese movie by the name of your eyes tell ,The same name as their song . I watched the movie bcz their beautiful song and it was amazing aslo i will recommend you the movie as well
My favourite BTS Japanese song! Next is Crystal Snow live performance! 💜💜💜
Yessss!!! I’m so glad you did this reaction! BTS singing in Japanese is something else! Please watch Film Out live at Music Blood, another AMAZING performance!!! 💜💜💜
You can FEEL the music❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
cómo siempre la vocal line matandonos con sus voces los amo BTS Forever 😍😍😍💜💜💜
They are BTS!!! 😂 middle guy u right!!
I nearly lost it when James said they would sound good singing in sign language. FYI James...part of their choreography for their sons Permission to Dance incorporated sign language.😂😂😂😂
wow!! That's soo cool!
They can sing in sign language - that was hilarious … yes kinda did - in Permission to dance. 💜
Hi, good reaction, ty. Yes, it's very common for idols to learn Japanese and Chinese. Those were their biggest markets for albums and such. Now i think USA is 2nd largest market after Japan followed my 3. China. This is my fav song by them! This must be the 2nd live they did. They wearing the same fits. The vocals and their expressions, damn. I feel the notes with this song! It's an OST for a Japanese drama. JK wrote this and the lyrics are powerful and perfect for the drama. I adore Jimin he is my ult bias. But the vocal line killed this song. They really showed off their range. And the rap line killed their part too so beautiful. I had my body freeze on 1st listen. The chills, geez. I never experienced anything like it ever. 0.0 I listened to this song often to get my body used to it. But i still get chills! 0.0 wth! If i don't sing the song my body freezes. Like my god. My 2nd fav is Stay Alive by JK producer Suga. Borahae. -NY USA 2019 Army 💟
I’ll just put what the story line written on Spotify says here:
“The song is about believing that the future in your eyes will be filled with light even if the world is filled with hardships. Some days in life are so dark you want to turn your back on everything. But I’m always saved when I look into your eyes. And they make me determined to protect those eyes at whatever cost. At times, eyes are more telling than words.
We can’t go through life alone; we must walk towards the future by supporting each other, that’s the type of message we wanted to convey in this ballad.”

This is a remake of a Korean film Always (2011) which was previously remade into a Turkish movie Sadace Sen (2014). As a film buff I'm pretty interested to check out.

BTS sent in several demo tapes but sent in another one right before the recording started, which was in a whole another musical direction - Bang PD said “it’s a song that Jungkook created after reading the movie script and watching the (unfinished) footage”
The lyrics had incorporated “watching over you (in protection)”, which was a keyword in the movie, and the shining melody along with the relaxed vocals matched well with the actual movie so director Miki decided to play the song in the movie and not just at the end.
it was already decided that BTS were gonna do the theme song for the movie before the demo tracks were sent so it wasn’t like the director deciding to use BTS for the theme song BC of their demo tracks.

Your eyes tell is co-written and co-composed by jungkook as well… it was originally for his mixtape but he submitted it with the other members to be in this Japanese film and his was chosen and they loved it so much that they made it the theme song for the film. Jungkook knows how to highlight every single member in ways that being out the best of them. Also his lyrics are pure poetry… but if you break the song down… he’s highlighted strengths of BTS members that really are not always able to be highlighted in their other songs. There’s rarely choreo to their Japanese songs… so they can stand and deliver beautiful songs like this!!!
Stay gold is Japanese and has an mv also lights is Japanese and has an mv as well… the vocalists really shine in the Japanese tracks… I know ppl hype Jin… but really each of them really shines in them

I'm Japanese, so when I listen to these songs, I think Jin and JK are amazing. Instead of singing in an easy-to-sing form, the two sing in plain Japanese to deliver their feelings. It might be easy to change the consonants or put in weird breaks to make it easier to sing, but it doesn't get to the heart of the song. Of course, it's difficult for everyone because it's not their native language, but Jin and JK chose a difficult path. Thank you and respect. And what makes Jin shine even more in Japanese songs is his excellent emotional expression and ability to tell stories. We often like warm, narrative songs that sound a bit classical.
first off, let me say that I am so happy I found this channel. I love seeing all of your reactions. There is something about bts Japanese songs that just hit differently. We all know they can sing beautifully and rap beautifully but there is just something about japanese songs that just sound so different and so beautiful! I hope you check out more of their japanese songs as well!
It’s a thousand times easier to sing in a foreign language than to converse in one. I used to sing in high school, and I sang in Spanish, Latin, French, German, Italian…. It’s just about memorizing sounds.
V and jk so beautiful voice 😢💌
