  • Lately, I've been focusing on keeping my off arm from swinging too far away from my body during coiling so that it's easier and faster to bring it in close.
These were probably in the low 50 mph range which feels low to medium effort to me because effort increase is not exactly proportional to speed increases. E.g., 50% effort is not half speed so 100% effort is not 2x the speed, it's much less of an increase in speed.

Nice work keep up the practice.
    Stand up a little straighter
Rotate more at the waist on your reach back
Keep that disc closer to your body. You're getting into the pocket, but flaring too wide to start your reachback

looks really clean and fundamental! With the off arm it's a balance because keeping it close might block you from pulling your left shoulder backwards into the coil aswell. What happens if you coil a bit more while keeping the effort as low as here? Feels like it might throw of the timing or force more effort to get the arm forward in time?

Ive been meaning to try extra coiling on high power throws for a while with the tech disc but keep forgetting or needing to rest cause playing too much, hah. Not sure what would happen on lower effort throws but pretty sure more power than intended.
My first ace was basically doing a full coiling on a hole I normally only coil halfway on because it’s a short straight shot at the basket and that’s how I accidentally aced. Tried to throw it softer but it would’ve gone passed if it didn’t make it.
