Hi there! That is a great question! We recommend using an HDMI capture card to convert the signal from the console to something your computer can receive. There are lots of options out there. I personally found mine on Amazon for a good deal. Keep in mind this device will convert HDMI to USB. That will allow it to be used with the Restream Studio as a camera source. You could also use the same device with OBS, ECAMM, wirecast, etc. just configure the software to point to Restream and Boom. Your streaming to all the channels you need using Restream. Hey there! If you're looking to create two separate canvases and use different layouts, you'd need to create two separate streams - for example, with two different accounts. We currently send a single feed (either horizontal or vertical) to your channels. But keep in mind that TikTok does a great job transcoding your horizontal streams and makes sure the full feed is still displayed for your followers! So even if you do a horizontal stream for both, the output should still be good to go.
i have the 2nd step verification but when i add my channel it says live streaming is not enabled, when i click the link to youtube live dashboard it logs me in on my main account and not the one i linked to restream. I don't have a youtube live tab on youtube studio.

In Restream I want to Schedule a Live Stream. I am using a Standalone external Hardware Streaming Device which is Live Streaming 24 X 7 choosing Event rtmp settings. I create a Event for next week, for RUclips, so my viewers can watch on the Scheduled time, when I am not available. However as soon my Event is created, I can see Live Stream on RUclips immediately, instead of Schedule time ! Other then Schedule time, it should show my Image with UPCOMING message and it should show Live only on Schedule time. Where can I be wrong.

After you've ended a live broadcast on Instagram, you can tap "Download Video" to save the video to your phone's camera roll. Keep in mind that only the video is saved, and not things like comments, likes and viewers. If you stream from Restream and are have a Standard plan or higher, a recording of your stream will be saved to your Restream account once the stream ends.

Hey there! Two things would be good to do: 1. When prompted to add a Facebook channel, confirm that you're signing in to the Facebook profile that owns your page. Sometimes, browsers redirect to another profile that you may be logged into. 2. Try resetting Facebook's permissions. You can click "Remove" next to the business integration for Restream here facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools. Then, remove any Facebook channels you have on Restream directly. That will reset all of the connections between Restream and Facebook. Then try adding your channel again. For desktop, you'd need to make sure you connect your phone to your PC - Restream will be able to recognize any device that your browser recognizes. Other people using your Restream account will not be able to access your personal Facebook profile. Restream is only authorized to stream to the destinations you set up, but the connection only goes one way :-)
I have a question. Im using restream (free version) with OBS. And I have a problem with the chat window. It appears only when I have my OBS window active. If I click outside the OBS window, the chat menu (and all other Restream menus) disappear. How can I keep them displayed? I want to display the chat window in my stream so people can read it with me, but because of that display issue I cant Thanks
It sounds like the chat window you are using currently is part of OBS. So, when the minimize OBS, it goes away. Restream Chat has an "always on top" feature and also some other options that make it work well even when it is not the window currently being actively used. When you log in with your Restream account on OBS you get docks with Restream functions like chat, but this is merely windows of the OBS application. Based on what you've described here, you should either embed restream chat in your OBS feed or download the desktop chat app. You can access the download of Restream Chat (or Embed link) by going here: restream.io/chat-product

I have a question, if people comments on they're own RUclips pages to get more comments using fake accounts, would other people know that the comments are fake?
The comment that shows up on your live stream looks the same as they would on RUclips. For instance, the chat overlay would feature the user's name, social media channel, and comment in plain text. If someone were to go to your RUclips account and click on the accounts' names, they may find them to be fake accounts. However, there would be no indication that they are fake from the comments showing up in Restream.
@@Restreamio lol, so people would know that it is me thats commenting on my real page when using fake? Wow i do this all the time because sometimes nobody comments my video, so instead i make fake account and comment it myself, nobody ever notice tho, they never said anything to me lol
But i don't think people would notice someone commenting on they're own video when using fake because, you can't scan RUclips ip accounts i don't think because RUclips have everybody account information protected, i know a lot of people that makes multiple fakes and comment they're own video and nobody noticed a thing

If you don't then i got my answer, nobody knows when you comment on your own video bcz they can't track who you are on RUclips, only police can track RUclips accounts and that's a good thing, so i can make 20 fake accounts and comment my real RUclips channel for more comments and no1 will ever know it's me lol

funny he tells you to to "put RTMP settings in streaming software" but doesnt at all tell us where that needs to be put...kinda sad that someone who works at resttream to not put this in their video...guess they are trying to make you stream from their software
If using OBS go to settings. In the now open settings dialog, select the Stream option. In the Service drop-down list, select Show All and then the Custom option. There are also a lot of videos on RUclips with adding in RTMP info into your stream options.
To be a bit more technical you will need 10Mb upload speed minimum for just 720p on one stream id say. So you need 15Mb or more upload speed if stream to 2 or more platforms.

Great question! You can stream any resolution you want using an external encoder (like OBS or ECAMM). Other people using your Restream account will not be able to access your personal Facebook profile. Restream is only authorized to stream to the destinations you set up, but the connection only goes one way :-)
I have a question. Im using restream (free version) with OBS. And I have a problem with the chat window. It appears only when I have my OBS window active. If I click outside the OBS window, the chat menu (and all other Restream menus) disappear.
How can I keep them displayed? I want to display the chat window in my stream so people can read it with me, but because of that display issue I cant

It sounds like the chat window you are using currently is part of OBS. So, when the minimize OBS, it goes away. Restream Chat has an "always on top" feature and also some other options that make it work well even when it is not the window currently being actively used.
When you log in with your Restream account on OBS you get docks with Restream functions like chat, but this is merely windows of the OBS application. Based on what you've described here, you should either embed restream chat in your OBS feed or download the desktop chat app. You can access the download of Restream Chat (or Embed link) by going here: restream.io/chat-product

I have a question, if people comments on they're own RUclips pages to get more comments using fake accounts, would other people know that the comments are fake?
The comment that shows up on your live stream looks the same as they would on RUclips. For instance, the chat overlay would feature the user's name, social media channel, and comment in plain text.
If someone were to go to your RUclips account and click on the accounts' names, they may find them to be fake accounts. However, there would be no indication that they are fake from the comments showing up in Restream.
@@Restreamio lol, so people would know that it is me thats commenting on my real page when using fake? Wow i do this all the time because sometimes nobody comments my video, so instead i make fake account and comment it myself, nobody ever notice tho, they never said anything to me lol
But i don't think people would notice someone commenting on they're own video when using fake because, you can't scan RUclips ip accounts i don't think because RUclips have everybody account information protected, i know a lot of people that makes multiple fakes and comment they're own video and nobody noticed a thing

@@Restreamio 1 last thing, for example i commented this page couple days ago with different account do you have an idea who I am? If you don't then i got my answer, nobody knows when you comment on your own video bcz they can't track who you are on RUclips, only police can track RUclips accounts and that's a good thing, so i can make 20 fake accounts and comment my real RUclips channel for more comments and no1 will ever know it's me lol

funny he tells you to to "put RTMP settings in streaming software" but doesnt at all tell us where that needs to be put...kinda sad that someone who works at resttream to not put this in their video...guess they are trying to make you stream from their software
If using OBS go to settings.
In the now open settings dialog, select the Stream option.
In the Service drop-down list, select Show All and then the Custom option.
There are also a lot of videos on RUclips with adding in RTMP info into your stream options.

Question, with multi streaming, will you lag more in comparison to just streaming from one platform?
You shouldn't experience any lag as long as you have a stable internet connection and enough upload speed.
To be a bit more technical you will need 10Mb upload speed minimum for just 720p on one stream id say. So you need 15Mb or more upload speed if stream to 2 or more platforms.
