How to Use Scan Documents Feature
In this tutorial you will learn how to Use Scan Documents Feature.
There are many ways to scan a document on your phone, but the easiest has to be via the Notes app. Open notes. Create a new note. Tap the plus button, and tap plus, one more time. Tap Scan Documents. Now the camera app will open. On the top you can turn on the flash and access filters to experiment for the best results. You have regular color, grayscale, black and white and photo. Use these depending on the type of a document that you will be scanning.
Position the document in the center and take a picture if it doesn’t take one automatically. The app will try to identify and crop the document automatically, however you are still presented with a chance to adjust the edges. If you are not happy with the results, tap retake. If you’d like to keep it, tap Keep Scan. To exit the camera interface, tap Save. Now you’ll have the document presented in the notes. Tap on it to maximize it, as well as edit it further or add more pages by tapping on the plus button.
