I was able to follow this step by step. Dealership was going to charge me $40 to change one, changed both for $10 ($6 detail supplies, $3 bulbs). Thank you!

Just a heads up for people. You don't need the tools for these bulbs.
You can:
For the left bulb, hold the fixture on the right, and pull to the left and then out, and the same in reverse for the right bulb. These lights are designed to be toolless.
I used an old gift card to pry it out since it was somehow stuck couldn't budge by hand

Nevermind, I got it out by wiggling the bulb untill I could pull it out

I Had to use a screwdriver bc that's all I had. Thankfully the cover didn't crack. The owners manual needs to b redone bc for my '13 it said all I had to do was slide the cover to the ➡️ to get it off... I don't think so
The manual is correct, do not pry down & out, that's how you break it. You simply slide the cover left (for the drivers side) or right (for the passenger side) and when it shifts you then pull down. No tools required.

Helpful video but there is one error. The cover should be removed by pushing from the inside out not the outside in. The big tab on the outside will compress and allow the small tabs on the inside to pull out. This is how the manual shows it and when you look at the part it makes sense. This way a tool is not needed, just a short push or pry with a screwdriver to slide the cover enough to pull it out.

Lol you had me break the light fixture so now it doesn't fit back in. Did everything you did except the plastic piece holding it inside broke off when pulling to the left.

On mine, the lenses are completely recessed. No rim around the edge to slide a tool under to depress a tab.

I cut expired starbuck giftcard tried to pry it open. I was not successful because there was not enough eleverage. I was able to use small flat head screwdriver to pry it open on the top giftcard without scratching my car.
I still need you to tell me how to fix stability issues on my 2012 gls touring .
I put the KYB that fits mine and under 10,000 it is doing it again
I have brand new Factory monroes from the dealership in front and New Links all the way around .

This is useless nothing like the tag on 2011 Sonata.
Such professionals. You dont handle auto bulbs like that. natural Oil left on the bulb from your fingers heats the bulb up and reduces its life. Wear clean cotton gloves or put a clean hankie between the bulb and your fingers when handling bulbs. Your welcome.
