Those screws are a bit difficult to remove. So glad to find your video just to see the difference in bulbs to buy. One thing...I would have checked to see if the connection worked before screwing all of the screws back in. Thank you for showing the whole process.

hi, I have 2012 elantra and I wasn't able to get the gray bulb housing out. The hole in the trunk wall is in a slightly different location from the one in your video, the bulb portion is partially blocked. Any tips?

Yup. 168/194/T10. Same bulb all of them.
Mine has two bulbs and the second one won’t come out because the bulb is bigger than the hole.
Do you have a 2015 or 2016 Model Year? Maybe it has the LED tail-lights then. Those are not easily replaceable.
2016, which is included in your video title. Actually, the bulb is not too big. The wire is short and there’s a screw that has to be unscrewed to release the wire and allow the bulb to come out of the hole. I found another video that shows that, and it’s actually very easy to remove the assembly.

Yes, these videos are for the North American version. Bulbs may be different for the European version.
