Thank you so much for showing me how to disconnect those wires. I found multiple other videos that seem to always skip over this very important detail. I had to reach way up inside to find it and I couldn’t put eyes on what I was actually doing, I ended up finding it though! Thank you so much.
FYI, for a 2014 Elantra, you don't need to remove the whole unit. Just take off the covering inside the trunk and the bulb can be unscrewed and replaced.
my lights have been constantly burning out and I am continually getting pulled over for lights that I replaced... it is not easy to access these lights as it really should be. a little ridiculous-- thanks for the how to!
If you have trouble getting the screw part out of the push clips, try to apply some back and forth motion with the pry tool in your left hand under the outer part of the push clip and it comes out much easier
Your video n removal of the outer tail light was really helpful - thanks guys. I am trying to change the inner tail light on a 2007 Azera which has a reflector strip on the trunk that goes between the two inner tail lights and the inner tail light seems to fit underneath this strip. The strip also has the license plate lights built into it. I can't work out how to get that strip off that trunk so that I can remove the inner tail light. If you can shed any light on that it would be really helpful
Hi, I ran into a problem yesterday where all of my tail lights and brake lights went out. With all of them going out at the same time, I figured it must be a fuse or something of that nature. Unfortunately, I can't tell from the diagram on the fuse boxes or from the owners manual which fuse I might be looking for. Can you guys help? Thanks.
