I use Frixion pens and they work great! Ironically, I used them before I started quilting, so that was all I had. Still prefer them to this day. Thanks for the wonderful baby blanket tutorial. I am going to make one for my granddaughter coming in July. Maybe I can make an extra and send it to you from the US! ❤
Very pretty baby quilt! I use Frixion Pens for light fabrics but not dark fabrics because once your press away the lines a faint shadow can be seen on dark fabric. I like the sticker you have on your machine.
Thanks for the tip! I will be adding the stickers to my Etsy shop soon. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate it ❤
Hi Stacey. The frixion pens are so easy to use for tracing out a pattern but I wouldn’t use them on areas that aren’t going to be a seam. They can potentially leave a shadow after being hit with the iron. Cheers
Such a cute quilt. Going to download the pattern, pick fabric, and get started making one. Love the iron with the light! Thank you for the video and PDF pattern.😄
Frixion pens all the time for this. I have pink and black. Because of the ballpoint, I start my making line centre out in both directions. I have not had it catch on the end of the point so maybe it’s just a quirky habit.
I use Frixon pens and markers for sewing all the time. For me, they work great! I do, however, pray the fabric with Best Press before marking so the ink does not get in the fibers.
The Best Press tip is really helpful. Thanks for sharing your technique, Linda! 🌟 I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Happy quilting! 🌼
Great video and a great cause! I use frixon pens, but ONLY on the back of fabrics! So for any diagonal lines like you made in this video I would definitely use the frixon pen. Any marking I need to do on the front of my quilt is done with a hera marker so I don't have to worry about ghost lines reappearing. ☺😊
Hi Stacey. This quilt is adorable and such a great cause!! I was wondering, where do you get your pins? They look longer than mine and for some reason, I'm having pin issues and need some new ones. Yours seem to go in with ease! Thanks again for your tutorials...I love them!!! 💛🌻
Love this quilt!❤ You sew so beautifully. Wish I could sew like that. My Projects don't come out that near and straight. I've been trying to sew for a few months now and I still can't get it to look like that. ❤

This is SO cute! I really want to make one for the donation drive! Have a great weekend, Stacey and Niels. 🤩🥰
Thanks for watching with me Louise 🤩
Friction pens are PERFECT for drawing diagonal lines. They iron right out.
Yes! I need to try them 🤩

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t think any of the washable markers are truly 100% washable.

I made my first Heart Baby Quilt top today! Such a joy to make. Tomorrow I'll finish it and begin another one! 🥰❤
I made one last night and I was happy with how quick it was. Glad you like it ❤️
@@staceyleecreative I really do. Thanks for bringing it to us! 🤩❤

Hi there, I use these pins: amzn.to/4biY3Hb
Love this quilt! Question I might of missed this video on washing quilt after its made or fabric flannel?
Hi, if using flannet, always wash before you start, it shrinks a lot.
Love this quilt!❤ You sew so beautifully. Wish I could sew like that. My Projects don't come out that near and straight. I've been trying to sew for a few months now and I still can't get it to look like that. ❤
You haven't been sewing long, it takes time and practice. Go slowly and before you know it you'll be sewing like a pro.
Super cute quilt. I went to download the pattern but it pops up with bunny.
Thanks for letting me know. I have fixed it now. 😊

Hi, it’s working fine. You need to sign up for my newsletter to get it. I don’t see you on my email list.
What is the finished size of the quilt?
Hi 👋 Approx 34” x 34”
@@staceyleecreative Thank you! Can’t wait to make this!
Why can't I download this pattern? I subscribed but can't get the pattern.
