While they're at it, maybe the remastered version of the game engine should be used for a new retro South Park game. One which combines the exploration and interactivity of the Stick of Truth with the best gameplay elements of Turok 1 and 2, with a bit of Duke 3D, Half-Life, and Postal 2 mixed in.
Turok sucks though, with enemies respawning after 1 minute, and no quicksaving.
@@TheDeeGeeNL I meant in terms of Turok's gameplay rather than its saving system or difficulty. Turok 2 allows for quicksaves, and I'm partial to its saving over Turok's. I don't like Turok's absence of quicksaving, either. Of course a South Park FPS would have quicksaving.
Legend I was waiting for this upload appreciate it.
Also Turok, you can tell it's the same engine alot. Pick up items glows your screen, and the end level was basically like a end level on turok, endless spawn even the same camera work was used to spin around it.
I remember owing this back on the ps one and also chef's luv shack and south park rally good times.
I actually loved this game. This and that quizz game.
I beat this game on the hardest difficulty on PC without cheating and enjoyed it. I have video proof on RUclips too, so you can't call me a filthy liar lol. This game is definitely easier with mouse and keyboard and the PC version is also the best version of the game for me.
I remember playing this in my N64. With my little 4mb expansion pack. This was one of the games that used it well.
Used to love spam shooting my cousin with the alien device that made him sing that song in multiplayer lol
This game was some good times back on the PS1. The alien spaceship level with the cow corpses laying around always creeped me out as a kid.
This is why i fucking love this channel! Keep up the good work man! God what a throw back
Shit, I had this. Was pretty cool to ten-year old me.
That cutscene at the beginning looked like a surreal entertainment video
Forgotten?! I remember this shit ahaha
" i love to sing-a about the moon-a and the June-a and the spring-a. I love to sing-a about a sky of blue-a and a tea for two-a."
Now it's stuck in my fucking head, thank you! Lmao
I REMEMBER THIS GAME
JAWS UNLEASHED
I had the patience to collect South Park on PS1. I will be solely adding it for the sake of expanding my PlayStation 1 collection.
how is this forgotten? Maybe if you're under 20 I guess.
Please tell me how you were able to lay the pc version
I cringed when you felt the need to explain your Jake Lamotta “joke”
I don't think raging bull is very well known amongst the zoom zooms
@@HeretixAevum I've never heard of him but I also don't follow boxing or any other sport.
@@lilwyvern4 Nor do I, I only know of him because of the Scorsese movie about him; Raging Bull. Give it a watch, it's very good.
Fun fact, 'The Spirit of Christmas' the very pilot episode for South Park was present as a secret item on Turok 2 CD
Turkey noise intensifies
I feel your pain. I had this for the PC and I couldn't get past the first episode.
Since you’ve done one of the best anime shooters, can you do Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet?
Oh man, I had this on the PS1 as a kid and remembered loving it. Particularly how you could stack Terence doll-mines and create a gigantic layered fart vortex.
But, Jesus, how did I have the patience?
I've never been so early
Local MP was super fun with mates!
This was a long one! Good stuff as always, mate. You should do a ModCorner for DOOM: Eviternity.
Will never forget playing this as a 8th grader and bringing it with me to Cape Cod. My grandfather couldn't take me playing this on our one TV in his trailer and shut it off on me when I was playing for too long. RIP you old bastard
Forgotten? I have never forgotten this game, this was a major part of my gaming career. Its like the second game I've ever played, first i played sonic on sega and then it was the southpark game on 64 lol.
I remember Kids of The Round Table on VHS, but that doesn't make that movie unforgotten.
This game is not forgotten.
This reminds me I had a mod for Quake 2 that replaced the sounds with clips from Southpark. Everytime someone got shot it would be Cartman screaming "god dammit dont shoot me" instead of grunting.
A weird thing I found is that southpark boots up the game with the characters having more than 2 eyes and having different skin colors and the gameplay litteraly unplayable like everything but the hud is black and all you can do is shoot if you booted up southpark in an android n64 emulator
But too be fair it was an earlier version
This game is not forgotten because I remember playing it a lot as a kid and being annoyed being in constant fear of gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble.
"Nobody tell Kotaku..." This is one of the many reasons I subscribe, Gman.
Rented this like three times just to beat that damn turkey boss.... Found out the game was the same shit over and over and quit. Thanks for the dedication 👍
For all it's faults, i loved this game. I rented it on the N64 then got it (with Spyro the Dragon) for Xmas of 99 with my PS1
The fact that this game was released way back in the pre-sociopolitical South Park days (and features a number of characters/scenarios that haven't been on the show since about 2001) probably dates it just as much as the gameplay does.
This video reminded me of so many forgotten and lost characters over the years. Mr. Hat, Big Gay Al and of course Chef..
Kids today will never know how cool Chef was
But you forgot to even mention the difficulty selection and discuss the enemies health for the PC port.
Piss snowballs. That's what I remember
game is fun, it takes a lot from the source material
"this things gigantic dummy thick ass" i love you g man that shit was funny
Haha, I've never forgotten this game
