The Last of Us Factions Sequel has been cancelled so many times even I gave up on waiting for it. I have noticed that Sony has been prioritizing westernized exclusives with a repetitive formula. Another Dual Protagonist Story Driven Game with way better reviews than it actually deserves. It’s not Single Player because there’s "2 Main Characters". It seems that every company involved in gaming has a blatant flaw based on management and design that they pretend doesn't exist. My dad gave me his resistance 2 game fun game but the second mission there was no audio half the map didn't fast Enough and a door wasn't opening (I think it My ps3 not the game) I show it to my friends and for some reason the door open as I gave the control to my friends wtf

Im playing it now and its a functional shooter with interesting concepts. Its obviously not great but I miss games like this. Nobody takes chances anymore on new IPs. Its the same franchises over and over. Remasters, remakes. Miss the 6th and 7th generation.
Honestly I had a blast playing through HAZE's campaign back in the day, but I think it was because the PS3 was the very first system where I had the cash to buy my own games entirely independently of parents at every stage. So I got HAZE, Portal 2, Infamous 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Orange Box, MGS4, and a whole bunch of other games. And HAZE was more or less what I expected and wanted out of the game given what I'd paid. I think this IP is ripe for a reboot with a MUCH more ambitious and polished game. Satire of hypercapitalist and ultra right wing dystopia is having a moment, and I feel like HAZE belongs in THIS era of games more than it did at launch. It also definitely needed to be better. So much better. But I don't regret playing it, and I occasionally go back to it and still have fun. Not a great game, but an okay one as long as you don't expect anything. Apply MST3K Mantra And Enjoy.

Haze was absolutely amazing though and through and one of the best features you can whip a knife at a squad mates or team mates or just friendly npc in armor in the head in campaign and they have a glorious death animation so someone thought of that being done

I remember this game somehow. I remember playing it against my friend, he used the guys with throwing knifes and I used the guys with this adrenaline boost or something. Never played the story tbh

I remember buying this game in the Netherlands, first time I ever saw it on Shelves. Don't know if it wasn't available in Germany. Buyed it, played it and regret spending like 15€ on it.
Seems like it wanted to be a thought provoking statement on the future of war; just couldve been less flashy and a lot more polished
