Squirt the scent in the bag of baits and let them soak for a couple of weeks so the scent doesn’t just wash off the first time you throw them in the water.
You should run this challenge back with the whole crew you norm hunter and whoever else you can get in on it, then y'all should choose the same soft plastic each choose a scent then put it under a bobber and all cast into the same general area and wait to see which one gets hit first then keep running it like that. This way you find out which attractant actually works the best. Just an idea.
I always see little crawfish claws on the bank at this lake I fish at a lot! There’s usually strange looking birds hunting and eating them right in front of me so that’s my guess, or something else is eating them lol
It’s the dye and the fertilizer from the grass on the gold curse that makes the crawfish blue and some crawfish have blue claws when they are young anyway
That Walmart attractant also comes in a Garlic Salt flavor. You can spay a little in your bag of worms to let them marinate and keep the soft plastics soft and flexible for a year after purchase. I like the Garlic Salt and the Game Fish best.
Quick question, is this place you guys are fishing a private place ie. some gated community or is this a pond anyone could go? Really nice place. thx for the video and test, i always wanted to test those products and now I get I check them out.
Using the type of rubber baits that you're using. IT IS INCONCLUSIVE ! .... Because the fish May simply be going after the lures. Regardless of the scent. You should try to use some kind of a sponge with a hook. Applying the scent to it. To know for certain if It is the scent , the bait or both.
Bro you should do a part two with a buddy fishing next to you using the same bait but without the spray . also I would love to be in a vid with you but I'm up in maine .
The claws are one the shore from the water level dropping they and fish spitting them out if you look at the grass the water use to be higher….or birds eating craws
@@FishingWithYakPak right on! I would assume to fish one day without the scent and the next day, if the weather is very similar, with the scent and tally the count. Absolutely, this was a botched experiment due to the lack of a control. They may have caught those 3 or 4 fish without anything but we have nothing to compare the results with. What a FAIL....
If you want to spend the money on stuff like that buy the chartreuse “spike it” dip n glo I caught bass bluegill an also plastic baits dipped in it to catch a 3 foot black drum
Love your vids yak pak gives me something to do that is actually entertaining and you and norm are just ment to collab together your vids are hands down 🔥 🔥 🔥
I think it covers the smell we put on the Hook n lure from our hands I use my spit I think we all do I believe the scents cover that up more than anything. But maybe I’m wrong
Sometimes when people are fishing with real crawfish...they will tear of one claw because it looks more defenseless and easier for a fish to conquer. At that's what I've heard.
You need to try the green garlic and salt i don't know if it works but on the slow activating days it's seems to work maybe it's the boost in confidence in the way you fish idk
How about a video on Diatract? They claim it triggers fish to strike even if they’re not hungry. I’m skeptical but Chad Hoover was showing it off in one of his videos and he says it works. 🤷♂️
Have only used dips and some stuff from LTB that you out on bait like hair gel lol but dips have helped, garlic chartreuse most no bite ,dip it bigguns
I've had luck with the bass scent, but you don't need to use anywhere near that much lol. It doesn't soak into the plastics, so just a couple squirts at the top and letting it drip down the bait should be just as effective. It's an oily liquid and sticks onto the surface of the bait.
Best way to tell is get a small piece of earplug sponge and squeeze it to absorb the scent and fish for bluegill under a cork with the sponge on a small hook with the different scents side by side. Bass and bluegill are both sunfish and like pretty much the same things.
It's true mate same thing in Australia you find them on the bank left by birds. Thanks to you and Norm for the great vids there keeping me entertained we can't go further than 3 miles from our house and there's nowhere to fish close to me 👍
Erling Larsen one day when I am finally able to do youtube full time, I am taking a fishing trip to Australia. I once did some training with some Australian Army guys and they were so cool!
What are usually do with the bait mate liquid is if my soft Plastics dry out I used it to make them slimy and keep them moist in the bag because I have had soft Plastics where they decay when heat gets to him a lot of times it's like they dry out and when soft Plastics dry out they tend to try and stick together and when you go to pick one out about two or three might come out with it so I recommend using it to keep your soft Plastics lubricated

i see you evry where, lol really hope you blow up in views and subs buddy
Yessir Larry da homie
One thing I've learned is to actually soak the baits in the bag for a bit before using them so the lures have a chance to soak up the oils.
try dipping the lures in the attractant it's not as messy and you get even coverage.
Honestly ive never had any luck with ones for bass but I have caught some nice catfish with the garlic bait mate
there's native blue crayfish in the St John's River, FL. I always wanted to go catch some but that river is huge.
Hey if I sub to you can you please sub to me
Squirt the scent in the bag of baits and let them soak for a couple of weeks so the scent doesn’t just wash off the first time you throw them in the water.
I've had pretty good luck with megastrike!!
Garlic or shad spray is what I use from time to time but I let mine soak for about 30 minutes bass love them and catfish

U got any tips tbh
When picking out the plastic, I was talking to the screen. Pick something with grooves/rings in it to hold more goop
you're channel and kickin their bass are the two best ones on youtube. Have you ever fished in Maryland?
The Smellygelly crawfish glitter gel attractant is the best I have found for bass from Maryland to Florida.
Way to go Yak Pak, great 👍🏻 video, enjoyed the content, I might try one of these scents, let’s go Dudes!!!!
Scents work. My recommendation is Megastrike.
🤣🤣🤣I'm just watching Larry in the back ground looking lost

The classic crappie spray is like magic
Fun fact, fish attractant is not allowed for competitions, and some are so powerful they aren't even allowed for use in most states
Quick question, is this place you guys are fishing a private place ie. some gated community or is this a pond anyone could go? Really nice place. thx for the video and test, i always wanted to test those products and now I get I check them out.
Blue crayfish are a common tropical aquarium pet. My guess is someone released a few because they were too big for their tank and they reproduced.
So what if you took a syringe needle and injected the spray into the plastic worms
I still think it's a bizarre idea that people go fishing just to let them go again seems pointless to me
It's a sport too. Everybody ain't fishing for survival bruh 😂
I think it’s bizarre people spend all day playing video games, seems pointless 🤷♂️
I mainly use them to clean any other random scents off my hands

Procure shad or crawfish on soft plastics, sometimes I'll use smelly jelly if its not to hot. Bang combo on my bucktails. Baitmate is kinda trash imo.
The claws are one the shore from the water level dropping they and fish spitting them out if you look at the grass the water use to be higher….or birds eating craws
Yakpak Squad 🤙
You should do those scents on random things besides actual fishing lures!
The crawfish claws are prolly from something catching and eating them. Raccoons do it a ton
Yeah
You should've done more of a test vs control by using a singular bait, one without scent and another with the scent. That would be more accurate.
Good call! I’ll run it back and do exactly that 👊🏼😁

What rod and reel combo? Is it the Lee’s Mach II? My husband watches the channel hardcore lol. And that’s the reel/rod he wants.
Sup. I use the bass. Smells like anise.. Wonder if all of them do? I have my baits made and the bag has anise in it?
Hey yakpak i live in port Charlotte and want to come down and catch some snakeheads next weekend. Where should i go?
South of Fort Lauderdale. Near any canal
Enjoy all the video collabs with norm. Great content. I also have used some of those spary scents they stink.
Need to try the gulp spray on scent. It’s the juice

birds are eating them. which is why you see the claws, they pull the claw off then fly as then they cant be pinched.
Yes a part 2 when it's a bit cooler!!!
Mega strike or fish stick?
I think they work especially in muddy water conditions
Hey Yak what kind of tackle bag is that???
Awesome! Great job !

Try natural fish sauce or shrimp paste at the asian market
Maybe raccoons ate the because at ponds near me in Sanford Florida they eat mussels and leave them on the shore
Yeahhhhh, I dunno... Tried some garlic sprays and some gels, I am not convinced... Gimick I think...
Here from TikTok and love the videos
Birds eat the craw and deposit them on the bank for Yakpak to pick up and sniff lol

I would buy the gamefish one just for the color
You should see what happens if you soak some of the plastic baits in the spray for like a day or two and just let it sit in it.
Why was Larry acting goofy in the back at the beginning lmao
Man your Walmart is stocked we don’t have crap in Indiana
Same
Great content. Was wondering if that stuff was worth it
Love the test
Really dude! As if launching the little dude wasn't bad enough, you got to step on him.
Crawfish molt. It’s kinda like they are shedding there shell
someone mowed over a bunch of crawfish. you can see that grass is freshly cutt.
Bro yakpak be sending them fish to narnia
Make your own fish attractant using different herbs and spices you may have.
Dont believe they attract but do believe they stay on longer once they bite
It's called the heat index.
You should use that fish attractant on baits you know don’t work well. If you do that then you will really know if that stuff works.
