Man you're a life saver, I had my Pajero parked for a month as I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start. I had checked everything, starter, relays, pump, electricals, battery and all was fine but it wouldn't start. Thanks again mate!

Thanks for the useful video! A question: I hear the same BUZZING for a few seconds, after switching to P or R but no gear engagement, nor forward nor reverse-could it be the switch problem or transmission valve body?

You may need to readjust your switch. In my case the noise just gone after few days.

The noise that you are hearing a buzzing sound is actually the solenoids inside the transmission activating they have to open and close sending that fluid to different passages so when you go into reverse they all close except for the ones that are sending it in the direction age and then neutral they close off the back into drive they open a different set I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero sport and I'm having trouble with wires but mine makes the same noise

I got 99 LS model and it wont start specially when cold outside and when it does it idle low and dies. I tried to replace Idle control valve but still doesnt work sometimes. Any ideas?

The car is still not starting in park only neutral after changing the inhibitor any ideas why that is ?

Make sure the inhibitor is adjusted right. Is the P(parking) indicator on cluster have green light? Try to shake selector when it’s on P and try to start the car at the same time...
