Hi. I bought my cx90 phev for 2 months now. Been driving electric almost a that time. Just amazing.. I went on a 7 hour trip and here are my numbers. IT SAYS 42 KM RANGE GOT ABOUT 55 KM.. NOW IT TOOK ME ABOUT 150KM TO RECHARGE THE BATTERY... AND AVERAGE ABOUT 5.5 LITRE EVERY 100KM SORRY FOR NOT BEING IN MILES... BEING FROM Québec... But I love this car. Great handling. Second row as lots of room for tall people.... Just got positive things to say. Not to mention I'm saving about 350$ of gas à months... Now at home I'm using the normal charge and its taking about 9 to 10 hours to charge from 0% to 100%. Just a lovely car... Il see how it is come winter... I will let you know with are Québec wines... Hope it helps... Feel free to asked me questions....
Just ordered my premium last week! Same color rhodium white with the Greige interior! Super impressed with your dress drive! Way more stylish than a Highlander hybrid! #So impressed with the eight speed automatic transmission versus the Highlander Transmission.
Getting really frustrated that no reviewers are spending any time showing what Normal mode is like to drive. How much time does it spend in electric only, where is the threshold to turn on the engine, how quickly does it go from electric to hybrid when you are depressing the pedal? Every reviewer has only talked about EV and SPORT modes, which most people only rarely use. I'd love more characterization of the PHEV in NORMAL mode.
When with this car most people drive in ev mode for your around the town commuting. Even in normal mode it’s an ev preference with the gasoline engine only jumping in if there’s heavy load or if you’re in a battery charging state 👍
@@biggeststeppa1 Seems like it. I suspect they're pushing the Inline 6 more in order to recoup their investment in this new engine, on the idea that the timeline for doing so may be shorter than once expected now that government incentives are driving more buyers to PHEVs and EVs...though I suppose they could introduce a PHEV with the Inline 6 (like the BMW X5 xDrive45e).
@@g.richardson6883 Apperantly not, heard the transmission is close to peak torque it can handle. Wish they come up with inline 6 PHEV or at least 2.5T.

Jadon, thanks for reviewing the PHEV. There isn't that many reviews for this model. Appreciate it.

Yes
Thank you for the very informative video. How many miles of electric miles did you able to drive? Is it close to EPA estimated?
I got 23 miles
Thank you for the update.

is the leg space in 2nd and 3rd row in the PHEV the same as the inline 6 TURBO?
Yes!
Wish the PHEV had body colored fenders, at least for the top trim.
I think they're trying to steer buyers towards the inline 6, at least in my opinion

Unscientifically, i clocked 0-60 at 13.4s and 7.2s.
