I flew Austrian Airlines business class from Montreal to Vienna for my latest trip to Europe.
Austrian Airlines offers lie-flat seats with direct aisle access on their Boeing 767 aircraft, along with world-renowned catering by Vienna-based hospitality group DO & CO. I was curious to see how the whole experience would stack up against other Star Alliance transatlantic premium cabins.
Booked with: 70,000 Aeroplan points + $120 for Montreal-Vienna-Warsaw-Kraków

0:35 New lounge in Montreal
1:28 First impressions
3:15 Dining

I just flew Austrian Air for the first time. I LOVED their food! It is head and shoulders above any other airline I’ve flown. It was so impressive that I plan on flying Austrian Air again.
wow!
Business class?
Its many years since ifly on B767.Great work
This is the first trip report I have seen about Austrian Airlines. Austrian were in the middle of a relaunch until 2010 when spiralling costs, debts and a shortage of finance scuppered the airline’s effort to become a airline of choice for traveling around the world. Good review, not all bad. Liked and subscribed. 🙏
Awesome trip report. Looks like a great experience.
Hi Ricky Zhang! Boeing 767 are old and feud of them are still in good condition... anyway, i have to say that Austrian Airlines are not as big American Airlines are so what they offer is what you get, a good trip and a good deal for your flight to Vienna! 😎😎😎 Bye, have a nice weekend! New channel! Let's Gooooooooooo!!
Hey Ricky just wanna say I’m ur 6500yh sub here! :)
I'm actually flying with Austrian Airlines business class from Vienna to Montréal next week. Good to see service levels are back to somewhat normal.
I hope you enjoyed your trip!
@@prod.by.ghostly I did! It was good to be back on-board after a long while.
@@habbsterr Thats great to hear! I will be departing to Europe in a few weeks so hopefully I have a great experience!
@@prod.by.ghostly how was your trip? I hope you had a lovely time!
@@habbsterr it was fantastic! We were on multiple airlines flying out there, but Austrian was by far the best! Thanks for asking!
Nice video. Looking forward to more flight reviews in the future
Fantastic review sir!
Well done video, both content wise and visually :)
Enjoying the content 👌
Breakfast looked delicious!
Very nice video. Liked the editing. Was hopping you had more videos.
I have more, do you like mine? :) :)
Planning a trip to Vienna from the U.S. connecting through Montreal so would have preferred to have seen the Air Canada lounge, the one I'll be able to access. Otherwise, a worthwhile review.
Have you heard of Edelweiss’ summertime non-stop from Zurich to San Diego? It debuted June 2017. It’s not happening now because of Covid, but would you be interested if and when it returns?
Excited for all the travels in 2022!!! Great vlog
Always enjoying your travel vids. Been mulling over your membership plans, anything you can say to push me over the edge to get your $100 option?
Awesome vlog! Was going to recommend for you to mention which program and how many points you used but I see its in the video description! 👍
Thanks for the very useful review. We were looking at the alternative of YYZ-VIE this summer on Air Canada Rouge business class - your video provides a great benchmark to this option.
A fair, good review. For completely unique reasons, Austrian will forever and always be this American's favorite airline and business class. But it was interesting to see the low end of the Austrian experience bell curve. I agree the food didn't look anywhere near as good as when I've flown Austrian.
What are those unique reasons?
@@Ad-Lo They took good care of me when I was traveling home (10hr flight) while recovering from genital surgery (GCS vaginoplasty). I suppose that's just rare instead of unique...
This helped me out already! Still have a YVR-HKG-CDG flight booked in July on Cathay business class and definitely thinking that it's going to be impossible to have a negative PCR test and would likely have a doctor note etc, so just booked a back up AC flight through YUL! The Air France Montreal lounge review makes it sound much more appealing and fun!! I'm sure it will be wonderful anyways, but thanks for making it sound extra exciting!
Question, I'm flying from Newark to Vienna to Prague. What vaccinated/covid test do i need? I've been vaccinated about 254 days ago
We were booked to go to Vienna June 2020 so I’m feeling pretty jealous of this flight.
Subscribed! Which map plug-in u use for ur video? And Is for for fcp or adobe premiere?
Glad to be the 7th comment on this channel.
I find Turkish airlines food and lounges bland and boring. What are you talking about?
