  • I had such a hell of a time getting this video up on RUclips -- first my house lost power for 24 hours and then once I got power back and could finish editing through 4 hours of footage, export failed on the file not once but FOUR TIMES and while uploading this video to RUclips my WiFi went out 😵‍💫 but we're finally here!!
First we hang out in my plant room where I do some pest treatment and show you some growth updates and updates on recent repots, then we do some heavy chopping up in my Hoya cabinet, then we take a brief little adventure to Vandula Farms, after which we sort through all the Hoya cuttings and chop up my Monstera BMF, and finally we go to ‪@northshoretropicals‬ the Tropicals pop up and I help her with the live sale on Instagram! Lots of stuff packed in this video and I hope you enjoy it ❤️❤️❤️

Filming plant chores can turn into a chore on its own. You could pick one plant and just talk about it. I know a lot of the new hybrids coming out need someone to talk about how to grow them

I'd like if you can make a video specifically on collecting pollen. Maybe by trying different methods, cover how to store and eventually make it a series over time from collection to actual pollination. Then collecting and planting seeds till growing the actual baby plant.

I would love to hear what is on your plant wishlist…with some pics popped up on the screen…and why you want them. even if its something you have and maybe want a different form, etc. Not that I need to know what is on other peoples which list because it always makes me add to my wishlist but its fun to see what other people are looking for!

I love these type of videos the most in the plant community! I totally understand everything you're saying about not knowing what to film next as a plant youtuber it gets a bit redundant. I like the plant vlogs and also prefer recording vlogs too! I think they are getting more popular vs single topic plant videos.
I related so much when you were talking about all the work you guys had to do at the shop! Running a plant shop is not easy and a lot of people think it's just fun playing with plants but it's a lot of work! I have my own online shop and get so exhausted when it's time for a restock so I totally know how you feel! Unboxing the plants alone takes hours lol!! Really enjoying the videos and loved the updates on the plants and what you have been sharing about your own personal life lately too!

    Amazing plants!!
As for the UK, the west country (where I live haha) is lovely, Bath is a gorgeous city and the landscapes are incredible. The coasts along the south west are stunning, Cornwall is amazing if you can travel that far. On the other end, if you want wild hills and countryside, Scotland is a must. Loch Lomond and the Isles on the west are so wonderful.

Really enjoyed this video. Love all the Hoyas. I always wanted to visit London. The main thing i like to see is the London’s eye and Madam Tussauds. I am from Dublin Ireland where is more city life which is mostly famous for shopping and bars and restaurants it would be nice you visit here. We have only two good garden centres. If you love the relaxing countryside and greenery and nature there is a few attractions like the cliffs of moher, the giant causeway, Powerscourt, there is a few good zoo’s and farms to visit if you like animals. Galway does amazing seafood.

I would love to see you push your boundaries by maybe doing more edible food growing indoors, I find this to be an incredible challenge, how cute with tomatoes look in a glass vessel with no drainage? and I would love to start growing mushrooms too. Plus growing food at home and cooking with it is basically like the best anti-cancer move you can make, you would be essentially helping with like a public health service. Just my ideas, no pressure, purely selfish requests.

I’d love to see you do a walk-through of receiving, and rehabbing or caring for new Allocacasias; such as how long to keep them in water, and then transitioning to pon mix. Also, I’m finding very few videos on the Alocasia Zebrina Reticulata. Wondering if this is because it’s a difficult one or just so rare? I have my ion one and I would love to hear your opinion. Thanks, enjoy it as always.❤😊

I really liked how responsive lauren was with everyones questions and the second or third cycle through of the unsold plants. I end up impulsively getting the anthurium debilis x lux and a skinny pallidiflorum! Super happy with my order. Thabks for the long video, it was nice to see hoyas again on your channel, even though im also kinda going through a anthurium phase too.

Hi! Obviously I’m bingewatching plant videos and yours is one of my fave to watch.
Sorry I’m OC like this😅, but that’s not an alocasia clypeolata. Looks more like a borneoensis if not then a different variant of bisma. Borneoensis is still kind of rare and only avail by vegetative prop and not in TC yet if I’m not mistaken. I can only get it if I import from Indonesia (Singapore based btw). Clypeolata doesn’t have a border like yours have.

I am from the Uk and live in North Norfolk amongst the broads ( no not women but big lakes and rivers) we have a large and beautiful coast line, sandy beaches, market towns, tons of history and fab places to stay, eat, drink, walk/hike and in Norwich the small city in the midst of Norfolk, you have a castle, cobbled streets , a church for every Sunday of the year and a pub for every day of the year or so the history tells us. If you want history and good shopping, rivers, windmills and boats plus beaches Norfolk is the county (of Horatio Nelson) to visit. (And you could meet me too 😂) xxx

Regarding video ideas: I found your channel recently and you always talk about TPS one and Great White inoculant. You do not go into detail on what you do with them how you apply the myco etc. because (in the 10 videos I've seen from searching these keywords in your channel search bar) you state that you have said it all before. However, I have searched vigorously through your channel and cannot find you talking about overall care with fertilizer, nutrients, and inoculants. You mention them here and there once in your (very entertaining and informative) two hour long videos but it is so hard to find the information on these products on a houseplant tour video -- it is like a needle in a haystack. I have these items in my save for later cart and I am dying to learn how to use them... I have felt motivated to try the products you use and even more inspired to try pon. I have been drainage free with moss (for about a third of my plants) for quite a while so I find your methods so intriguing. I think a "teaching" video, if you will, where you cover everything of the sort would do wonders and I would absolutely recommend it to my peers. I have already been linking your RUclips everytime someone states drainage holes are a necessity on Reddit lol. They usually respond with a "wow, thank you." Please, I am dying to learn how to apply these products properly.

It's finally up!!! I've got work errands but I'll watch it as soon as I get the time. I also have a lot of video suggestions but none are coming to mind right now. Maybe a video about plants that you think would be good hybrids (if you were good at hybridizing, what plants would you hybridize and what do you want it to look like). Charmaine also did a video on plants she got influenced to buy, maybe you could do something like that as well? I'll edit this comment when more come to mind, and when there's stuff I want to say once I watch the video. Have a great week Alice!
